  • Worrying Stats - Redknapp vs Hughes

I know we all hated Hughes (quite rightly so) but what many of you might not know is how our current manager compares in the premier league.

    Hughes Record
    P W D L %Won %of Points from Available
    34 8 6 20 23.5 29.4
    Redchap
    59 13 14 31 22 29.9

Redknapp has had 25 extra games in the premiership to sort things out and has had an almost identical record to the manager hated throughout W12..

Please all the people that applaud TF's decision to keep with our current incumbent realise you are backing a manager and a decision that has almost had an identical record to that of a manager that with go down in the annals of QPR history as a disaster!!

Not a record to be proud of I agree. To be fair I think the last 6 games of the 12/13 season after the Wigan game it seemed that the players had given up...

Shambles but some will still take a positive from that under Redcraps calamitous reign.

Not sure why that surprises you. When he took over we were only 6 points from safety. Come the end of the season, the messiah had miraculously taken us significantly backwards to 14 points from safety. It's embarrassing. Always excuses about the squad etc, but he took us backwards is the fact.

Next season in championship he was backed hugely and failed as should've got automatic. We then scraped the play off win after an abysmal performance.... Yeah what a mastermind.

Now with his squad after more backing there's still endless excuses. He's a joke, always has been always will be!!!

Might not go down too well but the difference between the two is that whilst hughes had a bad record, he actually had a plan for each game. Didnt play players out of position and tried to get results. His downfall was his recruitment. The squad he bought didnt have the character to bounceback from a horrible start.

Harry on the other hand as kept a good squad harmony but has no idea of a plan for the upcoming game. Plays players out of position constantly.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

            Agree with Gaz above.

A handful of us saw this coming with HR but were ridiculed for it after the West Ham game.

The man has had no game plan or style of play from day one.

It would be interesting to see how another manager would do with this group of players.

I doubt there is squad harmony. Some players ludicrously cast aside and never used even when they should, many players always played out of position, and others left as subs when certain favourites get regular game time..... Not to mention he's always making excuses when everyone can see, the players more than anyone, that his selections, tactics and subs are the main reason.
