  • Anyone seen the toys? They seem to have been thrown out of the pram.

Lots of moaning on here today. TF has made it clear for a while now board backed Harry in the summer and it was his job to get on with it. They have drawn a line in the sand in relation to transfers and I think the club have done the right thing. Casting our mind back to last January it was little more than a farce. Signed seemingly about 300 strikers, all rubbish.

Whilst as a fan ideally I would have liked us to have signed a couple of players our so called manager needs to be doing more with the players we have. We have players being played out of position, others like Phillips and Hoilett look like their confidence shot to pieces. He moans about not having strikers but won't play Zarate and plays Vargas on the wing when we have actual wingers who he generally keeps benched!

We are told our youngsters are no good but then TF says Les & Co think we have about 5 decent ones. We sent players like Petrasso out on loan, get good reports and then they get nowhere near the team. In the old days if you sent a youngster out on loan to a lower division club and they did well they were then given a chance.

Nearly all the players we have signed seem to have gone backwards (meaning younger ones) aside from Austin. Various players out of sorts.

As for the general way our team is set up it beggars belief sometimes. Our squad is not the second worst in this division. Whilst we are short in places we also have some good players at this level.

The players have to shoulder some of the blame but, my opinion only, everything seems to point towards 'Arry and his merry bunch of coaches being riss poor at their jobs. It is farcical.

Put it another way if it was your money would you let 'Arry spend it? Time for 'Arry to man up and show what he and his team can do. They are very lucky to still be in jobs.

So rather than moaning about our owners I applaud them for taking an arguably harder decision and standing their ground on transfers. Having made one hard decision if things don't improve on the pitch I hope they are prepared to make another one in the not too distant future ...

It would of be embarrassing if that Zarate Jarvis deal went through... What on earth was HR playing at with that one.

Yes weird. I think it might have been West Ham trying to recall though.
