    Crazy.
Isn't everything in football (and life in general for that matter) a risk? Personally, I'm amazed that you're amazed. 3 and a half years of abject performances and over-whelming dissappointment, and still fans are clinging on to this misguided assumption that TF will finally get it right, based on little more than conjecture in the media and Tony's own PR stunts. You may fall for that schtick, but I certainly don't. I am saying that I would like somone to take over who has a clearly defined plan for the club in the long and short term....that has nothing to do with "sacrificing having a football team to support."

Also, something of an exxaggeration to say that implications of a change in ownership could be "on us within seconds."

Your the 1st fan who I have spoken to has openly said you want Fernandes out... That's a massive statement.
We quite honestly have too much debt for him to leave. That's the bottom line of why you shouldn't want him out.. no matter how much you dislike him and how he runs the club.

I find that quite surprising. If fans are currently not vocal in their displeasure towards TF and how the club is being run, then it is certainly bubbling away under the surface.

I take your second point up to an extent, notwithstanding the somewhat defeatist attitude. I can't really agree with the insinuation that TF must continue to own the club due to the debt that he has created. He got us into this mess, but it is extremely unlike that he is getting us out.

I can't really agree with the insinuation that TF must continue to own the club solely because he's done such a terrible job up to this point. He got us into this mess, and it is extremely unlike that he is getting us out.
All I know is we could have a lot worse owning our club... Be careful for what you wish for and the potential consequences should you shout loud enough.

Fine, point taken. On the flip side, there is the possibility that a successor to Fernandes may actually run the club successfully. Its all a matter of opinion at this point, but there will come a time in the not to distant future (given his penchant for giving up when the going gets tough in sport) when TF will no longer own the club.

Training facilities hopefully within the next year or two and my back of a fag packet expectation was 5 years for that. These projects are far more important than if we stay up or not this year.

I can appreciate the frustration on wages etc but what choice do the club have? We are the bottom of any potential player's wish list. We have probably the smallest ground, poorest facilities and I doubt a very good reputation coaching wise given our lack of not only developing youth but of improving players we sign. We have had years of farces going back to the days of Gianni, not to mention the sometimes absurdity of the Tango and Cash days. The only way we can attract players is to pay over the odds and agree contract clauses we probably don't like ourselves.

The majority of the debt is owed to the owners. That if anything ties them in because if they leave will they get their money back? Probably get very little of it back. This is a long term project which is just very frustrating for us as fans at the moment because of how things are being mismanaged on the pitch.

The owners have brought in experienced and respected managers at this level and backed them. A sensible approach. Appoint people who understand the footballing part of the business and let them get on with it. That's what you do in business. Hasn't worked but can hardly argue with rationale of appointments. I'd love TF to get shot of Harry but respect his decision to go with stability this season. I hope he is right.

Looking at it purely as an investment what the end result needs to be is a multi use facility, housing amongst other things a reasonably successful Premiership club and generating revenue from a variety of sources. They will not be expecting to see this for years. The problem as I see it is more our current expectations as fans. All very well talking about what 'might' happen in 10 years time we want things better on the pitch now. Maybe we need to grit our teeth and be more realistic. Perhaps the owners are the ones with realistic expectations.

I doubt we would find other owners with the patience and resources to do to our club what potentially these guys will if their plans come to fruition. Do we really want a return to Gianni or Tango and Cash type owners? Then we'd really have something to moan about.
Two very good posts there Furtive. Agree with all of that.

Exactly! it beggars belief..the man is ploughing his money in trying to move the club forward in terms of Stadium, training ground , squad etc etc...if he is guilty of anything it is listen to the fans too much! he got rid of Warnock when we all shouted that we was taking us back down..he brought in hughes who many at the time thought was a "proper" premier league manager..got rid of him having back rolled him in buying Champions league players as demanded again by many on here..got in Harry , who again at the time was deemed by most on here as our saviour. We came back up to soon after TF himself saying it could take a few years of stability. Then again he bankrolled HR in the summer spending money on Players Like Mutch who again on here was thought of as a great signing...yes he has his faults but blaming him for the results on the Pitch is like eating McDonalds everyday and them blaming them for you being fat!

We are losing loads, so sack the board as well as the manager. Mmmmm, yep.

Spot on TF is a football Chairman genius and we could do a lot worse, just look at how he has taken us forward these last 3 or 4 years.
Surprised he has time to tweet to us fans as i have heard he does a daily online seminar on Football Chairmanship that all the other chairman watch avidly and try to pick up hints from.
The guy is also a saint and no lie has ever passed his lips or PR fabrication ever flown from his saintly tweeting fingertips. When he does leave us, when he feels his work here is done and complete, the club should erect a statue of him holding up our Premiership trophy that QPR fans can kiss as they walk up the concourse towards our very own Nou Camp of London.
Cannot understand the fans disgruntlement when its plain to see that he has a plan and we must trust him. Like a father to us all. The Daddy of QPR and the founding father of the new QPR that will go on to conquer the footballing world.

TF is a great guy, and I like how open he is with the fans.. His heart is in the right place and he is trying his hardest to take the club forward.
He has always taken on board the fans opinions and views. His piled millions of pounds into Rangers and if its one person I feel for more than the fans its him because its his self made millions he has technically wasted!

He'll get it right eventually and I think most fans should stick with him... Managers and players come and go but I'd like the owners to stay.
