don`t want to turn this thread into something it`s not but for me it starts and finishes with the players.
Sure Harry rightly takes his fair share of the blame (they are his players, tactics, formations etc), but for 90 mins it`s all down to the players.
When was the last time we played well???
Yeah City & Liverpool were good but for me the last time we really played well was a 3 game spell against Newcastle, Wolves & Villa under Warnock 3 seasons ago.
That`s 3 seasons of poor football with no end to it in sight.
All it takes is for the players to show they give a toss, and try to win games for the fans to be right behind them.
Having said that it has the opposite effect when watching tepid negative hoofball.
We need a team with a cavalier mentality.

Harry isn`t the right man for the job of course but all the problems we have go back further than Harry.
Just seems to be something seriously wrong with the club, can`t really point to any player either as we seem to have a virtually new team every season.
Maybe Adel & SWP really are poison, who knows? but it`s not like the rest of the squad are being made to do something they hate is it.

HR is the one to blame in my opinon.
The blame is equal in my book playing in our out of your favoured position

I personally don't think it can ever be equal.. everyone in the industry knows its the manager who gets it and too right.
I think this is a good bunch of players, if applied correctly.
The only way you ever know if it is the current managers fault or just a sh1t group of players is by changing the manager to see if another manager can get more out of them.
In this instance this is HR's team which he put together so its a lose lose for him.

I don't think it was just Tony's decision to keep Redknapp, it was him and the shareholders. When Hughes went if I remember rightly he said it was his decision, this time he has said on a number of times it was his and the shareholders. Amit is a good friend of the Redknapps, and I think the decision to keep him had something to do with Amit, especially as Tony is out of the country. Nobody seems to be mentioning this fact.

ironing out problems and drilling things into the players. Think of Mclaren and what an impact he had.
We all know Harry isn`t a coach, he was brought in for his contacts and player spotting abilities (Hmmmm) for transfer dealings.
Hoddle seems to have had no effect either, so bring in a young coach with a finger on the pulse of how football is now played and go from there.

More needs to be got out of these players.. If someone could grab hold of Fer and coach him and improve him, then he could be a real asset to us.
