It's not as if he's a current world star, so cant see PSG offereing ludicrous wages like they would for a top star. He would be going there as a bit part squad player at best and being 30 now, i think it's quite possible he'd consider the option of a regular start in the Premier League over a bit part in the French league.

Better than Austin? c'mon m8, i've seen him, he isn't. He is better than the others though

On his game he has everything , im afraid he is mate , may not be an out and out natural goalscorer but he is top class ( when he wants)

Thats not how players think mate, if a big club come in for you its because they think you can play at the level there at, he wont think ill never get a game he will think he can improve the already top notch squad they have, no pro footballer should ever have doubts if a club come in for you. Clubs wont pay a player like Adebayor to be a bit part player they will see him as another option to play up front.

Yes he is better than Austin. It's not even debatable. Austin is on a purple patch in his first season. Adebayor has been scoring goals at top 4/5 clubs in the Premier League for years. Austin is a finisher. Adebayor is that and his all round game is a lot better. Hence one plays for Spurs and the other QPR.

On loan he'd want to prove something, might just see the best of him.

This!!!!!........ although Id like to see how Austin would do if he had the service that Adebaor's had throughout his career - Arsenal, Real Madrid, City, Spurs.....

If he went there he'd barely get a sniff with the likes of Ibrahimovic and Cavanni there already. Often their formation means Ibra playes centrally as a lone striker and Cavanni plays in one of the wide positions. Personally think Cavanni is hugely overated but he is popular.

As for you saying how players think, it's a rather general statement. My point was although he has had similar moves previously, no doubt thinking as you suggest, but he may well be sick of sitting on his backside and not playing. It must get boring at some point so perfectly feasible he'd choose to play rather than watch... and lets not forget he'd hardly get peanuts with us would he.

Well said. If he is´nt beeing forced to play in a deep role, that is.

If he wants to come on loan and put in the effort he could be a good loan signing.

If Ade went to Stoke, that would free up out of contract Crouch, who is 4/11, for us as his next club, but when?

Would prefer Adabayor on a 6 month loan with view to a perm so he puts the work in. Then in the summer after he helps keep us up probably turn waive the option to buy and sign someone who'd probabaly be a better bet long term.
