With talks of Fraizer focking Campbell I reckon we're closing in on plans X and Y pretty soon!!

Only surprise will be if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot this transfer window

Doesn't he have Alzheimers, then I guess he'd fit right in.

If we can't buy/loan any decent players then we might as well stay with what we've got, especially if Sandro is fit (big if) and Yun is back in the team.

So play Mutch so that he regains full fitness and confidence. Also Campbell won't add much to the QPR team as he isn't good enough.
If he really wants to sell Mutch he should get a lot more than £4m and use it to buy Gestede or someone better than Campbell.

Harry hasn't had a plan since after the first two weeks of the season, when his 3-5-2 shambles failed miserably.

Since then it's been a lot of buying random players and seeing if various systems will work. No actual planning or strategy involved at all, just lots of guessing.

I hate the sound of this deal and everything it stands for. I am probably wrong but my guess would be if we do sell Mutch and get Campbell then that's our new striker.

I think Campbell is alright and if we are relegated as a championship striker he would be enough to see us compete. I am just bemused we are selling a player like Mutch after 6 months to a relegation rival at a loss.

Its a joke and to be fair I think the stick Mutch gets on here is a joke. Barely played and been injured and he's just tossed to the curb...some of our fans are as bad as Harry.

Our lack of strikers in my opinion is not a huge concern. Yes, our out and out strikers are Charlie, Bobby and Zarate (although as a number ten more so), but we also have players who can deputise in that role such as Vargas, Hoilett, Taarabt (Assuming they don't leave). Mutch is brilliant behind the striker as he was last season for Cardiff. 7 goals and 5 assists playing there highlights that and certainly limiting his attacking by forcing him deeper has been a mistake by the management but with the lack of options deeper due to the Faurlin and Sandro injuries, they have had to hold his potential back unfortunately. That being said, if we start performing well, bring him on for 30 minutes in most games and eventually build up his confidence and start him. We will see the goals fly in.

Mutch needs space and its questable whether he will get that given the way we play this season. Sure a sale of him is not the way forward, but I suppose this is the way HR will get Money to fund other players. Sad but true, or sad state of affairs, more like.

Campbell was available at the start of season for 700k (buy out clause) if Redknapp wanted him why didn't he buy him then.

Much was presumably, along with Phillips, scouted by an employee of our club. We paid at least 5 mill for each of them but on what basis and is the guy who scouted them still employed, if so why!!!

We have a revolving door re players with some on here suggesting paying the equivalent of 1.5 mill for Campbell (part exchange) is good business when we could have got him for half that.

We have no long term plan, poor scouts and always pay over the odds as we are always desperate to get players in. How not to run a football club!
                                I agree with the above.
Heads should roll if this swap deal goes through as it is a total screw up.
As you say Campell could have been signed for half of what is being talked about now, yet I fail to see how his value has increased after a poor 1st half to the season.
