But come on Westie, if we had signed Essien would it have not shown what fools we are with our money. Wrong side of 30, huge injury problems and someone who earns big money? Besides is he really what we need? Apparently we haven't got much money yet our great manager wants to use up his small budget on a centre mid with dodgy knees

Talking in general mate(not digging you) as it don't matter who the player is if hes over 30 so many people throw about too old wants last pay day!!!! example Sidwell was mentioned pre season most said no hes doing ok at Stoke, Lescott we complained about when linked but hes doing well enough at WBA will get better under Pulis, Lampards name came up (I never wanted) but he would have been mercenary but hes good enough for the champions we went for two kids and rightly so in Fer and Mutch. Mutch is a waste of money and Fer has all the potential in the world but the jury is still out, Granero was young but it never worked

We have had our fingers burnt but there are probably just as many examples of poor buys of young players as we have had old

Suppose im saying young players are just as much of a risk as an older ones what we don't seem to do at Rangers for young or old players is our homework so instead of making a calculated risk when we sign a player we instead sign names and flavours of the month

As an example hes what 36 but if we could have Pirlo in the middle of the park for us I would drag my nuts over broken glass for that yes hes an old timer but you know exactly what you would get from him

        Yeah good points mate.

Was a bit surprised, if it is true, that TF authorised it though
