This is not Football Manager, it's the real world, things like this can take time. It would still take at least 5 or more years before we move in, but we do need a new stadium to catch up with everyone else.

Now, apparently, Tony has had some time to engage in the situation at QPR, and uses the opportunity to comment on the future of QPR. For the short term he issues a statement on behalf of the board regarding the manager (even though the outcome was not popular with all fans). Then he reassures the fans of his long term commitment to the club by talking about the future plans for improvement of the facilities at QPR. Think it is only reasonable for him to do so, especially in the light of the media and twitter hysteri in the early weeks of January (not to mention the messageboards, but i really hope he doesn´t read them).
But each to their own...

Actually it could be quite interesting to see if you are right. Could you e.g. make a timeline with league position and PR exercises plotted in?
