You could go in circles asking that kind of question. Who's to say a couple of really decent experienced Prem managers wont be available at the end of the season? No one know's what'll happen in the future, right now as it stands I cant think of any managers that are available right now for this level of football. A very risky and expensive gamble getting an inexperienced manager in at this stage IMO.

Of course nobody knows what's gonna happen in the future, so why don't we act now. If we get relegated, what then? Forget about a decent Prem Manager, we will have to get someone who 'knows' the Championship. I think we will get relegated under Harry. Why not get someone in short term till the end of the season, re asses then.

Finally. I don't how many times I've said it on here. When you go for a manager you can head hunt from other teams. It's been going on all season. Dont know why people think we've got to go in freebie bargain bucket all the time.

The whole 'fock it lets just get someone in' attitude could do more harm than good. IF we get relegated then we can get a manager in who could re-build his own team (because thats whats going to have to happen) at Championship level and build on it as the team gets better and stronger. BUT what if we stayed up and got a manager in who couldn't handle the Prem?

Just out of interest, how many of you have given up completely now and are just going through the motions until we are definitely relegated?
The way i see it, we need to support the boys even harder, not because Harry is staying, but in spite of him staying. He will be gone at the end of the season, we all know it, but until then lets do what we can?

Can't see that what we do makes any difference. No point screaming Harry out, sure, but it's only if the players play and put points on the board then we fans can cheer them. It's up to them.

Now that's been resolved, perhaps Harry, who isn't stupid or so he claims, would do us all a favour and tell us the identity of the person causing trouble behind the scenes, so that he/she can be dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Chairman ends press speculation by confirming Redknapp is remaining as manager

Chairman Tony Fernandes has confirmed Harry Redknapp will be remaining as QPR manager.

Press speculation has been rife in recent days that Redknapp’s position is under threat, but Fernandes – speaking exclusively to www.qpr.co.uk, on behalf of the Board – was keen to set the record straight, commenting:

"There’s been a lot of rumours about Harry’s position being under threat, so I thought it was time to end all the speculation, so everyone can focus on the challenge ahead. I firmly believe Harry is the best man to get us out of the position we currently find ourselves in.

He has great experience and having spoken to him at length over the last week or so, he is determined to turn this around and help us maintain our Premier League status. This is Harry’s squad of players, so he is the man to move us forward.

The performance against Manchester United showed the players are behind him and that they have the stomach for the fight. We know we need to improve our away form and Harry, his coaching staff and the squad will be doing all they can to turn around our fortunes on our travels.

It’s very tight in the table and we will do our best to strengthen where we can to give us the best possible chance. The fans have been brilliant all season and all I ask is that they continue to back Harry and the team.”

The club will be making no further comment.

At the start of the season we were all happy to finish 17th at the end of the season, it may still happen.

Too early to say he has been a managerial failure. A couple of wins and he's been the most successful manager we have had in 20 years.
