  • I can't stand the people who say Redknapp is to stay

Think it's past the point to sack him all good managers gone but would love to see anyone take over its either we carry on or replace but I found this article good

Like an old comedian reprising an ancient routine, Harry Redknapp turned in a bold and breezy post – match performance last night. His timing was slick, his patter engaging and his confident assertion that better times lie just ahead carried a degree of conviction. Then we remembered his team's performance, and we realised he was tap – dancing on a trap – door.

For Rangers are every bit as poor as their League position suggests. Bereft of ideas, pace, intelligent cohesion and adequate ability, they fail just about every test which the top division imposes upon its members. A more confident, more ruthless side than the current United would have buried them beneath an avalanche of goals. But even this United were eventually able to impose themselves with the minimum of challenge.

Last paragraph for me is bang on the money.

Good team would of slaughtered us yesterday. Our game plan, if that's what you can call it was shocking, again.

A team pushing for a title challenge, spending 140 plus in the last few years on transfers not including past spend. But them beating us makes us look bad?

Redknapp took us up... We are a few points from many other clubs... Redknapp is bad because he has Jordan, Keen and Hoddle(part time). All three are respected in the football world. However when one of Redknapps former assistants Pulis who some on here think is a miracle worker has Kemp, Francis and was going to have Jewel... No one comments. The biggest problem with Redknapp the man the country thought should be England manager, is simple! He like every big personality the press builds the press destroys. Shame our club does and never seems to pull in one direction, we just in fight between fans or players or directors.

Getting fed up at those who do not want to see harry sacked is being daft. We have no say or power whether harry stay or not, it all down to tony. Tony might be thinking we done this before getting rid off mark Hughes and we still went down.

Truth is there isn't any names out there that could do better than harry.

He also took us down. His premier league record with us is rubbish. He was also given the most backing of any other manager in the championship

Yep I agree first bit don't make sense more I was trying to say I can see our club going down the Hughes route again if we sack redknapp as all good managers gone.... Personally I would like to see a young dynamic manager perhaps Sousa now he hasn't got Flávio down his neck..... Or someone like Maakay.

Yesterday I heard on the radio redknapp has bought in 21 players since he has been manager so all that #### we need a striker lalalala it's his squad

Can't at all agree with that. We are much better than the position suggests, the performance yesterday was excellent which eliminates the first point. Ability is certainly there although pace is slightly lacking for sure, the players are very cohesive and are working together very well. The united side is still in the top four and it is suggested as a result that only 3 sides are more ruthless than them. This is just a way to jab at Harry, although I'm not surprised with the way things have appeared.
Once again, if anyone took over right now, the team would lose a lot of confidence and 2 weeks isn't enough to build it up. I feel like the players are confident in Harry but if he leaves at the end of the season, they will be more supportive of whomever takes over then.

It was the same with Hughes...totally slaughtered by everyone when he was here (rightly so) but now look at him!

Sacking redknapp won't do anything but set us back another 2 years. A new manager will want to change everything again but won't be able to get rid of the mercenaries...it'll just hit the same ending.

We've just got to accept that we're still living with the mistakes of 2 years ago and keep the faith. If we stay up this season, I'm sure more will be done to build a stable and more productive PL squad.

21 players ? I would say though that is 21 players who are not going to make us bankrupt like the up and coming Hughes. In them 21 we must remember that would include Remy I believe we made a profit, Samba we got our money back, But also short term deals on people like O'Neill. Mind you can we blame him for Ceaser, SWP, Diakite, Hoilet, Johnson, Bosinger... Oh no that's the mess he spend the first six months dealing with.

Should we sack Redknapp... Maybe ? But he is being made out to be much worse than the facts allow

Yea he brought in 21 players but alot of them were loans. 4 loans in this season including january, 6 buys and 2 free transfers, last season 4 buys and 7 free transfers, 8 loans. season before, 4 buys, 1 free transfer, 2 loans. From those, the attackers were Remy, Austin, Chevanton, Dellatorre, Doyle, Maiga, Keane, Zarate. 6 of those have only cost us wages, but the two he has actually bought have been some of the best strikers since Les. I think harry wants to permanently sign the best strikers only. Hence why he has hesitated with strikers. He has always had good strikers in every team he has managed.
