Best performance of ours I have seen this season arguably. First half we were excellent and second half we were still the better team, although not as good as in the first half. Thought Barton and Henry for the first time have looked excellent today. Chasing down every ball, especially Barton who was defensively solid and didn't try anything too stupid. It could have been very different if Vargas had his shooting boots on and if De Gea wasn't on a blinder. Only weak link today was Hill and he will be replaced against stoke I believe. The result wasn't deserved and didn't represent the match at all. Hopefully in a couple of weeks we can really show what we are capable of.

Did we make 5 passes today? Not that I can remember! First half between Barton, Isla and Vargas was the only time and that was it. I've never seen us have so little possession at home!
Maybe we did 4 passes today and it was double what we have had earlier this season.

Good performance, deserved something out of it. Weak links Bobby, Clint and Fer again. Fers too lazy for me, doesn't track back especially when looses possession. Chief, Green and Henry stand out for me.

I'm staggered as to some of the comments! Best performance of the season?! Based on what? It was against United? A poor United!

Not sure how you can be the better team when we hardly had the ball! De Gea had a blinder? One brilliant save from Austin then a routine save earlier in the game and one late on. Not sure how that constitutes a blinder?

Best we played yet we could have been smashed! Falcao missed two sitters and if it weren't for a slight touch by Caulker, he'd have had a tap in for another. Also better delivery from Wilson and Falcao had another on a plate. It could very easily have been four or five.

We played alright with a good work rate and effort but to suggest we played any better is wide of the mark. I can accept it though but thought if we had the same performance as we did against Liverpool and City we would have won today.

How come can you say that was a poor United? 4th in the table.
I think we had the same level of performance we had vs Liverpool and Man City,

Which we haven't replicated in games against 'lesser' opposition. Not a new Rangers habit, admittedly.

United were terrible today. No arguing that they're usually better, but we were handed/earned a very decent chance to get a result today.

                    And we lost.

If you have ever played football yourself you know a good performance does not always give a good result.

4th in table, so what? Before today they've won only two away games in 12, both very lucky at Arsenal and Southampton where they were outplayed. Recent form reads winless since boxing day.

If you think today was the same performance as Liverpool and City then so be it but in my opinion you couldn't be further than the truth.

Ok Matty. Isn't it funny every team are poor except Leicester and Burnley.

                              Correct.

Seem to have a few of them don't we.

                                Can't argue with that.
