Sandro @ 10 million, but always on the injury table, do you think that's shrewd business?
Rio a good signing? Caulker, while has the potential to do well( the future of England's defence is a bit far fetched however) but 8 million is too much. Why let Danny Simpson go? Why no points away from home, why no youth policy?
You are trying to defend the indefensible, he is a chancer and a terrible manager and needs to gone from our club immediately.
Townsend has nothing to do with Harry? Yea coz we were all clued in on him before he came. Sandro wasn't 10 mil so fix that please. Did i ever say anything about Rio? I hope not, I apologise if I did. 8 mil is the market value of a young english defender with premier league pedigree and former club captain. Danny Simpson was let go because he wouldn't play second fiddle to Isla, and look at him at Leicester, only now getting into the team. We also made money on him. No youth policy is down to available Quality, with only petrasso and Donaldson really being an interesting prospect at youth and now this Ryan Manning boy. Tom Carroll is starting to get rave reviews at swansea for his brilliant passing range and potential. He is being looked at for a permanent signing at the end of the season.

I get the impression Nasser is a 'newbie' football fan.

Nice chap just blinded by 'stats' that mean #### all in football.

Team has 99% possession but the other team touched it once & scored. 1-0 - stats mean nothing.

Well not really, burney wouldn't nor would Leicester, Maybe hull would but not many would say that. By potential, I don't mean that once they reach their full potential of course, I mean if we had them available, we would start to see improved performances overall. We have had issues with hill recently in some people's opinions? Wait till Yun gets back and we improve. Issues in winning the ball in midfield? We get Sandro back and the problem is fixed. Issues out wide with pace etc? We just got Zarate in and we have Phillips in preparation. Problem solved.

Be nice if he put the same 11 or near enough the same 11 out each week.

Newbie football fan, bit harsh Jimmy haha. I have been watching the sport my whole life. I have always used stats as a back up to a main point. They are there to support them so why not use them eh? The stats of that match that you mentioned would probably suggest the team lacks penetration in the final third, this would be supported by Stats

Look I need to be clear here.
I'm not pro Harry or Anti Harry.....I want my team to stay up, and go on and be successful...whatever that is the prem.
If one of you had a crystal ball and told me we'd stay up if we change manager now I would go for it.
All R's know how bad the away form is.......so does the manager and he said there is no excuses for it in the PC.
The point i was making about his press conf is that i thought he spoke well, highlighting that we have players that are on too much and can't
shift em. That the youngsters in his opinion are not good enough for the 1st team, and that he still has a hunger for the job.
I thought he handled it very well

TBF, he usually does. Recently it has just been changing Zamora around or Yun for Hill. Almost always the same 11

Stats mean little if you have sat through 90 minutes of absolute dross which on all away games has happened.

Sorry if I have been involved in the hijacking of this thread, I do really want to get back to the key point from the conference which I hope people will realise he is generally right about.

If I was as ineffective in my work as he is I would of been down the road ages ago
Can I ask you something Nasser, how old are you and do you go to games?

Lets look deeper shall we? Burnley have only 1 away win this season, and only 3 home wins two of which were 1 - 0. Their only away win was a 2 - 1 at stoke. But yea, they are certainly so much better than us arent they.
How about leicester you ask? They did have a good match against Man Utd at home, that 5 - 3 capitulation, their only other win at home? Villa last weekend and that was 1 - 0. But maybe it is much better away from home eh? Not really, the won 1 - 0 at stoke... sound familiar? they also managed to beat hull away from home though, 1 - 0 again... But hey, they are so much better than us aren't they.
For your second point, fans make the choice of travelling to support their teams, you are almost never favourite away from home unless you are top four. Yes, I agree, it is poor to have lost every away match but what matters in the end isn't where we get the points, but having the points themselves.
You sir. Are making yourself look like a clown.

I gave up wiv nasseem the other day when he said we played well against burnley. That's what happens when your pis.s.ing about on a computer all day looking at stats . Anyone that actually went to turf moor would have seen we was a joke in the second half and have been all season away from home.

Have a look at dyche as an example. Done well at Watford under a circus boardroom . Then goes burnley loses his best player austin to us. Still gets them promoted when bookies had them as 1 of the favs to go down. This season barely spent a penny and has them above us in the table. That's what a decent manager can do for a club.
