If we want to do things correctly and planning for the future there is no better man than Eddie Howe. He has no ego and will run things his own way, salaries will come down all round and he knows players well from lower leagues.
If we drop down we have a much better chance of coming back up under him without spending millions.
He is my No.1 choice and I'd do whatever it takes to get him here. I'd let Eddie get rid of the ego's and let him shatter them.

Not sure how Howe would work with the ego'd old timers we have in our squad though i.e. the Bartons, Rios, Zamoras, Dunne's.

Sherwood had a 50% win ratio at Spurs last season....better than Redknapp, albeit from a much smaller sample size.
Sherwood's brief tenure as manager means very little. As for win % lets not avoid the fact he was working with a squad full of excellent players and he basically got Spurs performing as they should've been nothing more. Also in games against decent sides, he more often than not got serioulsy found out.

Not sure QPR is the perfect fit for Eddie Howe though, that's the problem.

As regards Sherwood's record at Spurs - it is what it is. I wouldn't read too much into it, but I wouldn't use it as a form of absurd criticism either (i.e. "he basically got Spurs performing as they should've been, nothing more.") Isn't that what we want - a manager who can get the players performing as they should be? At the moment most of them are some way off even that.
