Sherwood will bring the passion back I believe.. He also gives us a long term plan as a young manager. I believe he would also stick with us should we go down and I would trust him to build a young side capable of playing decent football.
Eddie Howe would come for Redknapp's salary....

£60m spent by Harry and we're depending on Zamora & Clint Hill in a premier league side.

No disrespect to Clint but Christ.

Desperate really isn't it. All that summer of crying for another striker, thinking Zamora was going to retire, training for 3-5-2, signing players for 3-5-2.. and we end up playing 4-4-2 and Zamora being our only light.

So if we get Hoddle or Sherwood and we still go down - we would want to get rid.
If we get Howe and still go down most in here would want to stick with him - he is the one for me

Sherwood had a 50% win ratio at Spurs last season....better than Redknapp, albeit from a much smaller sample size.
I suggest you read the opening post , nobody but you had raised the matter of a manager or Sheerwood or Spurs , the op was we don't need a manager Hoddle as head coach with a Dof that's my opinion of the way to go , Please try to keep up

Not having Hoddle myself, get the feeling he wants to sit in a warm studio being a pundit, than working as a full time manager.
Enough of thease negative old has beens as managers and coaches, lets get a young ambitious manager for a change!

                Exactly my view.

Young, hungry, up to date man needed.

Jobs for the boys should come to an end the minute Redknapp walks out the exit door.

If we get Hoddle or Sherwood.. Why would we want to get rid sorry? - The idea of making either of these two gaffer, would be to have them at QPR for the long term. With Sherwood that is possible.. with Hoddle I am not so sure.

We aren't going to get Howe realistically. His top of the Champ with Bournemouth.. If I was Eddie Howe, why on earth would I want to come into QPR after the last few years when im at a stable club like Bounemouth.

As most threads on here seem to end up veering off into discussing who the new manager should be or if Redknapp should go immediately with a multitude of differing and passionate views doesn't it prove how difficult it actually is to run a club and make the big decisions.

If Harry did go then I wouldn't be adverse to Hoddle getting the job. Sherwood for some reason I just don't fancy, I would be passionate so why not give the job to me. Eddie Howe I would only look at if we went down. Where we sit today I would just stick with Redknapp until the end of the season though.

Obviously I haven't sat down and interviewed any potential candidate for a few hours so don't really know them too much apart from snippets on TV.

Deep down we all know Harry aint going anywhere this season! TF loves him.

We can talk about it and getting excited all we want but even if we lose then next 4 games I cant imagine Tony parting company. And HR is far too arrogant to step down in the final management job of his career.

Sherwood's Spurs connections have been raised a lot on other threads, and not by me. For some, it's an issue.

After reading this forum for a few years it is my opinion that most in here would like to get rid of Hoddle/sherwood after relegation - Howe would get the change.

OK you doubt my statement why we would get rid (explained here) then you self make a statement that we aren't going to get Howe. Your statement is a pure speculation just like mine. You put forward some reasons why he would not come. I can put forward some reasons why he would want to come. His value today is tops meaning he could get top salaries else. If offered by QPR why not. Something made Hughes and Redknapp willing to come here.

I was only making the point that Sherwood isn't considered a candidate by some because of his connections to Harry and Spurs, yet the same criteria seems not to apply for Hoddle. This thread is about Hoddle, right? Take it for what it's worth, rather than bogging yourself down in pedantry.
