So our "erratic" playing style is a reason not to consider him as a potential candidate? Sorry, but that's cobblers. The whole point in bringing in a new manager is that they improve the playing style, so our current performances simply don't come into it. We will be in the relegation zone whether Sherwood takes over or not; again, not a reason to rule him out. Also, to say that he isn't suitable because we as a team have been dreadful, and are where we deserve to be in the league is ridiculous. To be honest, I think most simply dislike him as a person, and have something of an agenda where he's concerned.
Oh right so our performances and style have nothing to do with the coaches who COACH them every day of the week?
Eddie Howe or Sherwood for me.. Cant see Eddie Howe leaving Bournemouth though.
Sherwood will bring the passion back I believe.. He also gives us a long term plan as a young manager. I believe he would also stick with us should we go down and I would trust him to build a young side capable of playing decent football.
Too much faith being put in Sherwood's ability after just 6 average months at Spurs and nothing else. He was able to bring young players through because, a). he had them at Spurs and b). he knew all about them after working with the youth team for a few years.
He neither knows any of our youth players nor have we really got any to step up.
Our first priority is to stay up so Sherwood isn't the answer.
If you really want him you might as well just give the job to Steve Gallen who knows all about our youth set up......

If we go down which we have a big chance of I'd be happy with him.

You what?
Too much 'faith' being put into Sherwood's ability?
Riiiighhhtt.. he still brought them through though didn't he? and the idea is that you actually create players to come through, which is what he did.
So your candidate for the job is Steve Gallen over Tim Sherwood?... Ive heard it all now.
Oh right so our performances and style have nothing to do with the coaches who COACH them every day of the week?
Riiiiiiight
It has everything to do with it, which was exactly the point I was making. You stated that our team's current playing style is a reason some think we shouldn't appoint Sherwood, which is nonsense. I responded by informing you that the entire point of bringing in Sherwood (or anyone else for that matter) was to change the playing style - the idea being that we are no longer "erratic" as you put it. Quite basic stuff.

Yeah sherwood can give us passion and we need that but plenty of managers have that and little else i.e olly and he's not the answer is he? Not convinced ts is the man to tactically get the best out of this bunch and if this job has come to early for him. Needs more time to learn the job imo but if we went down maybe the championship would give him the experience needed.
True Bush about tactics etc, I'm just leaning more to the fact the last two 'proven premier league' managers have been a total failure. New angle and all that.
Yes Hoddle? What are you not getting? Do you need a coffee?
Re-read your original comment. My apologies, I got the wrong end of the stick. Although you were wrong by stating that fans don't want Hoddle to take over - I have read numerous posts on here to the contrary.
ps. Don't be a condescending ar*e. Doesn't suit you.
