We need someone else who is willing to play second fiddle and not demand first team.
you saying he's been signed?...Btw I don't know what your definition of a striker is....but Defoe is every inch a striker and as weare says a goalscoring one.

As for whether he'd cost ....players can agree to a paycut if they want to play at certain clubs, and injuries well we could sign anyone and they get injured.
Bottom line is imo we need to add players, and if we don't then plughole it will be......in hitman style.....#backhimorsackhim

I'd be surprised if he heads up north. Having said that if no other options come up then he will. Judging by the betting, he ain't coming here and I agree. Defoe would already be signed if we wanted him.

You might be right and the swap deal could be a nightmare for TFC, Altadaore has scored once in 42 matches apparently! Defoe's mum will have the final say on this and after not liking Toronto, she may not like Sunderland either!

Altidore is shocking, think Emile Heskey but somehow worse!

Yes, TFC wined and dined her and took her to a Raptors game to meet Drake just to get her approval for her son to come and play in Toronto! When it all went wrong she seemed to be the one making the decisions, you might say Jermaine is a mommy's boy!
