[QUOTE=THE CAT;1367918]Would you have written this if we had won yesterday?

Why is a new stadium and training complex a "dream" only? A lot of similar size clubs and even smaller ones have build new grounds, and if it will be a viable long-tem business decision for the club then why not.

i think ive regularly posted my disapproval of the new ground pie crust promise from tony n co.....winning yesterday ,i agree, may have lightened the mood but was never gonna happen unfortunately

Unfortunately I think Mr Fernandes credit card is nearly maxed and unless other benefactors come to our rescue we will be playing championship football next year.

Walk before you try to run.
Yeap. Whats the sense in spending all this time and money on new training grounds and new stadium when your club is in a relegation battle and your youth squad is #### poor. Not to mention the huge amount of debt we are in and the money we owe the championship. 30,000 seaters are useless outside the premiership.

I certainly don't think there is anything malicious or sinister about the Fernandes' ownership of the club (which I definitely couldn't say about Briatore, Paladini & Ecclestone), but I certainly think he has made some very poor decisions and trusted some people that he really shouldn't have.

In my opinion if we are to move forward as a club we need to first of all survive this season in the Prem. From there we need a proper clear out of the management of the club. Phil Beard is not a football man and is in the wrong job, Harry is past it, Tony & Amit seem totally hands off these days, and as to what Joe Jordan, Glenn Hoddle and Kevin Bond actually do, I really don't understand. I'd get rid of the lot, put somebody in place as a Director/CEO/MD whatever you want to call it, who knows how to run a football club day to day. Then pick a young manager who understands the modern game. From there we might have thee right building blocks to talk about a new ground, better youth policy etc.

          Spot on

Tony does not learn from his mistakes that is what annoys me. He should also have been pumpimg millions into our youth and scouting system instead of signing has beens and average players.

I had heard about us being £178million in debt, which amounts to the same thing when TF walks away.

Tony's backed all his managers to the hilt. He's backed them to choose players and he's provided cash. It's not his job to stop certain players joining. We need a bigger stadium so that we can have more income to spend on these premiership wages. Tony or and other owner will have to continue putting in their own money to pay for these premiership wages unless we can increase the stadiums capacity to get more income. Personally I blame the managers we've had for wasting money on likes of swp, Chris samba, Rio etc. and then not performing and demanding more money to buy more players to fix their mess. Tony's only problem is his loyalty to his managers in particularly the current chump.

It's money club owes tony and shareholders not a bank. Not debt.

It might well be James but the well has probably run dry! Mr Fernandes obviously not in a good place at the moment and the club seems to be turning toxic again! If he pulls the plug some of that debt at least will be saddled to the club!

Well it's still a debt. Just not to a bank...

More worried at the moment that in a few years we won't be at Loftus road ! Also not at Old Oak either but sharing with someone like Brentford and sliding down the leagues. This is not scaremongering its a real worry!

No it would just be added to purchase price when he sells or he'll just have to write it off. It's not debt
