  • Formation vs Newcastle

As we are all aware Newcastle are going to be very hard to beat at SJP. Because of this, do you think we need to change our formation or stick with the team that banged in 5 at the weekend?
Personally I would be tempted to go with a 4-5-1 formation with Vine dropping to the bench & either Faurlin coming in & Rowly holding OR Ramage in at RB & Legs holding. I think any player who wa dropped for this game would understand why even if they didn't like it.
Obviously the other option is to stick with the same team & go & spank them 4-1!

Need to build understanding, stability and partnerships all over the pitch.

        Same team.

As long as we have two defensive midfielders (Watson and Rowlands), we should stick with the same line up

Couldn't agree more about giving little respect to Newcastle.

At last Magilton knows his best team and no need to change it, we've waited ages to get consistency with the first 11 and don't expect any changes.

looking at the league, I'm sure only one team has conceded less than us.

                          yeah

the only change i would like to see is connolly being brought into the left back position
but otherwise keep the other ten players in there positions
