He's Championship level at best! Waste of time as we'll be significantly improving the quality at centre half should we survive and Keane wouldn't get a sniff!
I must admit I havn't seen enough to make an inform decision but he has a good rep, this could be driven by Rio?
If this is true and i doubt that it is. It could just be a ploy from us to try and weaken one of our relegation rivals and nothing more. A relatively small price to pay to try and put another team in the sh*t as it were.
I'd be massively pissed off if we signed Keane as our last domestic loan assuming we've got no money?! Burnley are in talks for a permanent deal. Centre half isn't really a priority, we have Caulker, Dunne, Ferdinand, Hill and Onuoha who can all play in that position. Granted it's not the best in terms of quality but Keane is hardly brilliant. Wingers and Strikers must be the priority!
I agree with you Matty. Would be silly to sign now a centre back because we have plenty of options there.
Very good young player and at 3 mill if true a bargain.
Would be a a decent buy and if anyone has actually watched him more than once or the odd time on motd you would know this kid has huge potential. I agree we have more pressing concerns right now ie a decent winger and striker but Michael keane as a squad player would be decent addition. Would prefer to see him alongside caulker if dunne needed a rest than rio. Keep onohua as rb back up imo.
