How the hell do you know that for sure?!!! No one knows what has gone on behind the scenes to bring the lad here!

There's little point in going overboard on the evidence available to date. Or as Mr.Wolf said, let's not jerk each other off just yet...........

Going by the fact our game plan at the moment is to lump it forward to Zamora and the fact we have similar players already who we don't play in a no 10 role I think its an educated guess

On evidence, he has been very good. Started 5 league games and got two goals in those and an assist. he is a number 10, not a replacement for austin but a supplier. Even as a supplier to players last year for Velez in argentina, he got 13 goals and 5 assists in 19 matches in the league and was probably the best player there. We aren't going overboard but it isn't like he won't improve the team. Plus he has the language (and recently nationality) link with Isla and Vargas and can communicate very well with Sandro for example since portuguese and Spanish (especially south american spanish) are so similar. This is a good signing on paper without a doubt and for now, that is all we have on him. When he does well for us though, it will be good to get more response on him

I'm sorry, I forgot that teams are incapable of changing how they play. But wait, didn't west ham play like that at the start of this season? when it stopped working, did they quit? no, they changed style and look at how well it worked for them.

^^West Ham still play dinosaur football, I think the big difference for them this season has been Alex Song.

Back on topic I don't see how anyone can complain about this. Zarate is decent and is an upgrade on what we've currently got. Should be handy and will free up Fer/Vargas and hopefully mark the end of SWP.

Unfortunately this isn't FM15 so you cant just click your fingers and change the style of play we also we have a terrible manager who hasn't a clue how to get the best out of the squad we have

All I can say is that all of my WH mates are fully booing about it, without exception. It can only be a personality clash that's caused this.

                      tidy player, nothing special.

does he play as a striker? if not we still need to sign one.

will he get us 10 goals? probably not.

pretty sure the seasoned professionals at the club know exactly what they are doing, and who to bring in...... better than any fan does. It seems at times most fans are in the wrong profession, they should all be football managers.
Seen Zarate play live on a few occasions, and from a humble fan's perspective, is a good signing.......but what do I know.

Well. I left my crystal ball at home today - but he's got a point to prove for a start. Some of the lads think he has the makings of a prolific striker. However, he's more effective at 10.

Judging by our squad building in the last couple of years I would disagree with that

Also he could be a good signing but how is he going to fit into our style of play ?

Mutch , Fer and Phillips are all good signings but we haven't a clue how to use them properly

I never said it was, but I know a team can change a style of play and West Ham aren't the only team to do it this year. If you will recall, WE have already done it. Remember 3 at the back?
