What I genuinely cant get my head around is how people are seriously saying they'd prefer to be in the lower leagues. We are QPR and we're in the Premiership, out of the relegation zone with an awesome home record and 'our' striker is the 3rd top goal scorer in the league ahead of Rooney, Sanchez, Van Persie...... just sit back and enjoy the ride ffs!!!!

      This is my thought.
I doubt if you can see conversation like this on say Burnley, leicesters, Hull, WBA, Cr Palace or Sunderland forums - thinking small will take you nowhere
Like the OP he wants be be in the same league as some small London clubs - so if they are relegated to the Conference thats is our division
For me I like to be with London big boys - I like to play Chessie at least 2 time a year

I thought I had clearly stated that I want us to stay up as despite the plastic atmosphere and grounds full of tourists it is still the place to be but if we were to go down then so be it and I wont be crying all summer

For my sins I have not missed a game home or away this season so I obviously enjoy the Premier but despite the occasional rant about the teams performance or HR I take each game as it comes so dont get so wound up as some do after a defeat or even a draw

          Agree.

Any years in the prem we've had of late have been the worst I've experienced as a fan.

New grounds hooray, all the stars lovely but at the end of the day I just want to see my team win & go home happy. Whether that's against Arsenal or Gillingham I don't really care.

Makes me laugh people on here saying 'all we've gotta do is stay up' & 'as long as we finish 17th' what a completely shite existence!! I'd still be there happily toddling along to home and away games in league 2.

So to answer your question, would I really care? No I wouldn't tbh.

But the ride in the Premier League is losing most weeks which isn't exactly fun

Every win in the Premier League has felt like a cup win. Can't get the same feeling in the Championship.

                  Really?

Fantastic feeling scoring or winning in any league.

                  Maybe you're a newbie?

Still think the best time supporting Rangers in the last 15 years was those 3/4 years under Holloway in league 1 and the first year back up in the Championship

We were a proper club with the fans united and players who actually cared for the club

And lets not forget some of the teams we've lost too - Chelski, UTD, Spurs, Arsenal, W.Ham, Liverpool, Everton, Newcastle...

A newly promoted club into the Premiership with no real funds to spend, where would you honestly think we would be at this point of the season?... our record for the bottom half's not bad - W (4) L (3) D (2) and 2 of those loses were against Newcastle and Everton. for any new club to the PL lts always going to be about sc###### through, and as each season goes you get stronger, it just takes time.

Great years. Also the year Warnock took us up was unreal. Taarabt was unplayable.

The plus side of relegation: a new boss, hopefully with a development brief and a long term plan.

The down side of relegation: there is no guarantee that the legal case will go our way. It may, but then again......

Yup, showed more skill than anyone at LR since the great 10s. Just make the current situation even sadder.

For me, I am 100% sure that a win over Fulham in the Championship would feel better than a win over Sunderland or Villa in the PL though.

Despite what Ive said I make you right on that 1 mate they were good times!!..... although the Sir Les, Sinclair, Impey years were my all time favourite times..... but these are new times, we as a club need to move forward and IMO we're slowly building a very good Prem side.
