I really do wonder if hr played a full team of players who never gets a game could they of lost by any bigger a margin?

As I said on here when he was appointed, Harry gave up on development years ago.

Southampton gambled bringing kids through and prioritising their development, that should always be priority number one for a small club like ours. Unfortunately recent owners have had delusions of grandeur about Rs which are totally out of keeping with the reality and the way the game is going. We can not compete in the market. We can develop.

The real problem isn't the kids - its that management and senior players are not up to it.

I find it incredible (and a little pathetic) that we have spent so much time signing young players, with absolutely no intention of playing them. Ehmer and Harriman have impressed when giving a chance, and our U-18's side is one of the best in the country. If we intend to keep surviving from one transfer window to another, we will amount to nothing. Selliing sh*t to buy more sh*t is not the answer.
Says who? We are not even in the top proffessional development division. Not saying we are bad but to say we are one of the best in the country is a bit OTT.

As recently as August 2013, we were in Division One, beating the likes of Inter Milan and Liverpool. So no, not OTT. But like everything else at QPR, we didn't capitalise on the momentum, and the devlopment squads suffered as a result.

Think Redknapp has come to to the realisation that our few weeks of good form were nothing more than a flash in the pan. Think he's still depressed that he wasted $10 million on someone who will play only a handful of games for us. Would have be nice to have seen the youngsters giving 100% though, even if we'd have lost 6-0.

So I have a great idea, lets play them in a match which no one cares about in the middle of the season instead, rather than do the exact same thing at the start of the season. How is what you want any different from what has already happened in pre season. Are you gonna judge them after 1 FA Cup game instead?

People here will over exaggerate a point if it makes them more right, we have all done it but in this case, the youth team isn't that good, certainly not to the required standard at this moment in time. Do watch the youtube channel if you have the time to see the number of batterings the players get from lower league opposition.

Of course. Or won. You never know. At least they would have tried. Maybe Harry wanted us to go out of the cup, and he knew playing the reserves/youths who have something to prove could actually jeopardise that plan.

but take a look at my photo blog:

No. Contrary to what you have stated in your comment, that isn't what I want. Your argument is fundamentally flawed, as I don't think a player should be judged on 1 FA Cup game any more than they should be judged on a handful of pre-season games, regardless of their age. What I want is for them to be given 8-10 games in the first team, and not discarded / sent out on loan if they make the odd mistake. Judge them then.

I'm curious, how often have you watched our devlopment squads? Watching the highlights of the odd game on Youtube barely counts. If it's as much as I'm guessing (i.e. not very much) then you are posting from a position of sheer ignorance by constantly stating that the youth team "isn't that good."
