Can't believe some of the posts on this thread
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

There were also several tweets saying that no decisions were being made on transfers at the moment due to the Air Asia situation. The transfer period lasts a month and it is possible that the situation with Air Asia will not be resolved by then.
They would say that, best thing is not to say too much.

100% agree Bush. If I was in Tony's shoes I wouldn't even tweet about QPR, I wouldn't care right now to be honest. All I would be able to think about is the peoples lives which have been lost and their families. This club has people who run it on a daily basis, let them deal with it.

            Bang on Bush.

Some sickening comments on this thread.

We lost 3-0. Not ideal but in the grand scheme of things who gives a shite.

Whatever happened to the QPR family, of which Tony is a huge part? Surely he needs and deserves our support during this terrible time for him?

There's some disgraceful comments on here which is to the shame of our great club.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

                Well said Richard.

Personally, I think TF has proven his commitment to us. With his time, his passion and his money.

If any of my relatives had been on that plane, I think I would see his current priority in terms of being there for the families of the bereaved, as the very least he could do. I think I would appreciate it as being the actions and genuine concern of somebody who is probably suffering far more than anyone has ever given thought to.

I also think I would be pretty miffed if he allowed himself to be distracted by a few cretinous fans of a certain West London football club that may wish to embarrass themselves on a form of social media. Make no mistake, they do not embarrass QPR, only themselves. I prefer to be proud that our chairman has got his priorities well and truly correct and am absolutely aghast that any human being would think differently. I'd swap relegation this year and next if it would in some way help those affected, which of course it couldn't.

Kirill, I think the offending part of the post below is the inference taken by some in relation to the highlighted bit.

We are stuck with Redknapp until March at least when it finally dawns on Ternandes that it might be a good idea after all to try another manager, by which time it will be too late. Fony is a mug and when we are relegated again there will not be another instant promotion miracle and he will do a runner, you mark my words.
I know that you didn't mean it, but it reads as though his motives and actions are in some way false and some bizarre type of PR stunt.

If on another thread, you had said that in your opinion, he should have given Harry the elbow long ago, or pointed out that any transfer targets should have been sorted and agreed well before now and certainly before that plane crash, then I doubt if the majority would disagree. The timing and phrasing of your comments could have been better. Having said that, I think we can all be guilty of that to some degree.

Possibly a good moment to draw a line under that particular argument.

MYU, who looks after the twitter account? Perhaps it would be a nice idea for someone to message him on our behalf, letting him know that with the exception of the odd couple of specimens of pond life, almost every Rangers fan fully appreciates that he has far more to worry about at this point in time and that we fully understand. I'd offer, but posting on a football forum is about my limit in terms of interacting with the world.

How anyone can cane Fernandes at a time like this is beyond me. Anything football related must be aimed at those that were in a QPR shirt on the playing pitch at Loftus Road today and nowhere else

I think far more fans tweeted him with words of sympathy, than the few cretinous fans.

                        • Tony is a top Chairman and a top man. Obviously his priorities are elsewhere at the moment. The late great Bill Shankly was amusing, but incorrect.
