If he is playing on the shoulder of the last man his pace will put the sh*ts up the opposition and he won't be able to give the ball away in his own half either!
put hoilett up top?? the last time he looked half ok was at blackburn-he has shown us nothing. his end product is sunday lge.

Basic wing play when taking on your man is shifting the ball either side and off you go. Today Toilet & Phillips just ran straight at the man like they can magically walk through them. Awful the both of them.

I agree. Didn't he play in this position at the beginning of the season (maybe preseason) and looked impressive?

You can even add Fereday Stewart &.Burke to that list and thebest of them all, Thomas.
The current trio dont seem to know what a winger is supposed to do.
                    Ps forgot to mention Cook.

It's so simple that it is laughable that Phillips Hoilett SWP don't do that.

bang on with impey jimmy. we don't actually have out and out wingers of old-we have a hybrid of winger/midfielder/striker(oh the irony) type. our pitch is perfect for quick tempo midfield/wingers but you need the personel to carry it off. we slow down everything, they get all men behind the ball when we should be using our pacy wingers to get in behind them.....saying that our final delivery is that poor!! someone should book hoilett onto a green x code course-i'd worry about him on zebra crossings.
