    That's the spirit!

Hate all this "tiredness after the festive fixtures" lark. They're professional athletes, playing (at most!) 90 minutes of a team sport 4 times in 10 days. How about tennis players that play multiple hours per day of intensive individual sport for consecutive days during Grand Slams? Don't hear them whining about tiredness.

Just an excuse to hide behind.
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

You'd think we were the only team in England playing the way he goes on FFS

So would you honestly turn round and say on TV..."We were rubbish...absolute rubbish....especially Hoillett"

Whatever is said on TV is nowhere near what is said behind closed doors

Agree with most of the comments here but, being pedantic, HR didn't actually say that we lost because of the number of fixtures etc.. He said “They looked like a team that hadn’t played for ten days, and we looked like a team that has played four games in ten days.

“We looked lethargic, they looked sharp and they thoroughly deserve their win."

Not trying to defend him but there is a subtle difference between what he said and actually trotting it out as an excuse. Mind you, I don't think he's clever enough to make that distinction so it probably was an excuse.

Spot on. As for 4 games in 10 days, different ayers were used in some of thosr games.Redkrapp is just using excuses to detract from his own deficiencies in management, coaching and motivational skills.

I don't think he can excuse that performance in any shape or form. As for not being able to do much in the transfer window, that too is bu****it.

They lost away to another Premiership side for which there is no shame or embarrassment.

I think that just sounds like an excuse dressed up in diffetent words.

There's always an excuse with Redknapp if we turn in a bad performance and there always will be.

His in a position where he can say and do what he wants and know his job is always going to be safe. He also has far too much respect for himself to turn around and say it was my fault. His 75 years of age, he aint going to do that at this stage of his career... The only thing he can do is make excuses.

I honestly reckon he cannot wait to get out of the door at Rangers. One way or another he wont be with us next season.

Wasn't the excuse around the west ham game that we weren't fit enough?.. Now its we're tired and he needs more players.

Harry Redknapp... the bloke who has an answer for fvcking everything.

His books says it all.. doesn't take the blame for anything, never has done and never will.

Watching Harry's interview, it will not fill you with much optimism. 'We were lethargic', 'what can you do?', 'its very difficult', 'where would you find good loans at this time?'. Has he given up hope?
