The second half we had a game plan which was to hoof the ball up to Zamora and hope for the best which failed in such a comical way. If you are going to play hoof ball you need players around the target man to pick up the pieces. We lost every 2nd ball and it was bread and butter for the league 1 side.

Jordan Mutch is robbing a living as a premiership player and how we parted with 8m for him I will never know. junior Toilet the less the better but he should look at Campbell Ryce's performance today to see how you play as a wide man.

Redknapp is a dinosaur and with him in charge we are going down. We are playing premiership football now and you cannot rely on hoof ball to Zamora and hope for the best. We have no movement, & no quality when we do have the ball and our purple patch home form will not last. God knows what they do on the training field but in my opinion the football side of things at our club is rotten.

It's an old argument but also this Taarabt situation is beyond a joke. If he is refusing to train, refusing to play, or whatever he should be sacked surely. If not the management need to get him in shape which is there job and get him on the pitch. For me it is time he moves on but whilst he is a contracted player to QPR surely he would offer more than Jordan Mutch, Leroy Fer, Phillips, etc.

Bit of a rant but after watching that today, FA Cup or not, it is very concerning.
Cannot disagree with any of that.

My choice would be to make Harry director of football because on the whole I think he does a good job with transfers and (especially if Derby don't get promoted) Steve McClaren as manager. During the time he was here the team played much better and the team, Harry and him had a good rapport. I think if he had stayed we would have won the Championship and been in a better position to get players in for our Premiership campaign.

We need some sort of continuity, not a complete change as we keep doing and that doesn't really seem to work long-term.
What's this obsession with Harry as Director of Football that everyone seems to have? Haven't we got enough washed up old managers and coaches kicking around C-Club already?

At the end of the season we need to send Harry, Joe Jordon, Kevin Bond (who hasn't got 2 brain cells to rub together by the way) and Glenn Hoddle packing. Bring in a younger manager who has learned his trade properly and is capable of developing players and understanding the modern game!

We needed to sack Redknapp and get rid of his band of merry men in the summer. Instead we went for the easy option and let him spunk our money and give his mates jobs.

I don't think sacking Arry now will turn our season around, can't see many managers & coaching teams coming in, galvanising the team and turning it around, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

I really feel for Tony at the moment, this last few weeks must have been a nightmare for him.

And yes, the fact that he still refuses to give our most talented player a sniff is an absolute joke. Mutch is ####ing shite, what a waste of cash, you telling me Adel couldn't get a chance in a match that literally means nothing?

His transfers were mentioned in another thread and I think most people agreed that on the whole his transfers have been solid. Better than previous managers.

Not sure I agree with that, I think we need a drastic re-think on the sort of players the club should be targeting. I also believe that any decent, up and coming manager wouldn't really want Harry deceding what he ends up with in his playing squad!

Strange that so many want Harry sacked when the majority thought we had done better or exactly as expected in the half-season poll. Why sack him then:

Its sack him on here every time we lose away or lose or draw at home. Its like that, and thats the way it is.

Because many of us had low expectations with him in charge.

He simply isn't up to it anymore, if he ever was. He is not the right person to take us forward IMHO so what is the point in waiting? Are we really going to suddenly turn it on in the second half of the season and shoot up the table? No, things just don't work that way. It will be more of the same and relegation, since we've used up all our easy home matches and we are terrible on the road - just Burton Albion, who had their way with us in the first round of the other cup.

Time for us to start planning for the future.

think you're misunderstanding mate......i'm not fiercely defending anyone...I'm not THAT bothered to defend anyone that fiercely (not in football anyway!) and i'm indifferent about Harry. What I am doing is not understanding why people have a moan about the cost etc etc, knowing full well that there is a distinct possibility what will happen and why. In football you pay your money, and take your chances......especially with QPR in cup competitions. If you go to the match, spend a load of dosh and time, and it doesn't work out, don't bloody moan about it. All fans should be experienced and wise about football to know nothing is guaranteed. It's like spoilt kids spitting out their dummies imo. Hope that explains it mate!

                              People always say that!

Easy explanation Kev, when we win fans go out and celebrate and aren't too fussed about what's happening on WATRB's. When we lose lot's of fans come on here and vent their frustrations!
