Surely they'll name him in their Prem or Champions League squads? They DO wheel him out occasionally in cups so unless they buy a new striker I can't see him going anywhere. For me, he's too injury prone anyway and would miss half our remaining games if we took him.

Its why the Prem is for me just a cash cow with no hope for many clubs, who sign players like Remy through desperation yet he will walk away when it comes down to stand up and be counted.

But like you say double edged sword, the draw is the EPL cash.

Remy was ready to commit and sign a new contract before Chelsea came calling and as we know, he's loved by TF and Harry. Remy hasn't had a kick at Chelsea and is even behind Drogba, currently third choice.
Chelsea are on the brink of signing striker Andrej Kramaric from Rijeka for 7.5 million. Rumours suggest Kramaric is to be loaned out, possibly to Leicester but it would make sounder financial sense if they were to loan Remy out. I highly doubt Remy is happy being third choice at Chelsea and a loan move back to Rangers would suit everyone.
I guess it all stands on the viewpoint of what they want to do with Kramaric. Are they happy for him to be third choice and not get much football or do they want him to be playing every week.
Or....could Kramaric be on his way to LR on loan from the Bridge?TWITTER

Find it staggering why people hold it against Remy for joining Chelsea. As a professional, you want to be the best and win as much as possible in a short career and there is more chance of success with Chelsea than us!
Saying all that, he was ready to sign a new contract with us but that never seems to be remembered. Funny how the same Remy 'haters' adore the mercenary that is Adel!

Should go back to the old days of awarding medals.
Plus he was only willing to sign as time was running out.
