I'm reasonably happy to lear this. Their strike force got off to a good start, but Ranger and Carroll are hardly on form. This could be won and lost in midfield. Watson and Rowlands Vs Nolan and Butt...should be interesting.
      Your mum would love me...

Still, if they can afford to leave out a player of Butt's pedigree that shows they are still a big, big force at this level. OK, so he is not the player of old but is still only - what? - 31???

Good news about the injuries though - more the merrier!

our midfield are key for this.. rowlands and watson need to be bang on form.. i feel we will counter newcastle quite abit with some relative success!

going for a 2-1 away win for the super hoops! however we will go 1 goal down early and leave it till 2nd half to score 2.

Newcastle have just tonked Ipswich 4-0 away - I know playing Ipswich at the moment is a bit like being drawn against us in the FA Cup in the old days, ie virtually worth a by into the next round - but this looks like being way, way tougher than anything we have faced so far this season.

                          Even better for us IMO.

Either way, it'll be a tough test for our middle men.
