[QUOTE=Rangers77;1362543]Really difficult team selection this. Think we'll lose if we play 442 by being hustled in midfield. So, having to play one up, I'd bench Charlie for tactical reasons, start Bob, and play 4231..... Charlie can't play up front by himself, so he couldn't start, but he would come on at some point.

      Green
      Isla Dunne Caulker Hill
      Barton Henry
      Vargas Fer Mutch
      Zamora

      Hill and Dunne won't play.

So Ned and Traore will start and Phillips will play instead of Fer
& SWP will get a run out instead of Henry
The team will look like this:

      McCarthy

      Isla
      Ned
      Sendles-White
      Traore

      SWP
      Mutch
      Barton
      Nico

      Phillips
      Vargas

Eh. This is the Burnley match thread, mate. We will be creamed if that team turns out up there. Traore, I hope, will never feature again. What was he doing on the bench yesterday?

Harry does this thing as a show to the board that we need players by using crap to fill the bench. Does it all the time

If you believe that, then it follows that you must want him out right away, because that would be a disgraceful way to manage a football club.

Not really, he said it himself, and in all honesty, who else could he genuinely have put on the bench eh? SWP?

We have a squad of 25 players, plus youngsters. You put players in a starting eleven and on the bench as subs, to give you the best chance of playing against a certain opposition and optimising your chance of points. Not to be pathetic and try to make a f***ing point that any sensible person could make during an intelligent conversation with their chairman.

Sick of this bloke's silly games and inability to use his squad properly. Always moaning, wanting more players, not using the ones he has to maximum effect and blaming everyone but himself. Really can't wait for the day he leaves and we get a real quality manager in.

PS: You said that Nasser, not me.

What did I say m8? At the end of the day, you go in fielding your strongest 11 and subs to get a win. Of players outside the starting 11 against Swansea, here are the fit options at the moment:

McCarthy, Murphy, Traore, Onuoha, Ferdinand, Phillips, Hoilett, SWP, Mutch, Kranjcar (Who is 50 50 apparently at the moment).
Only players there who weren't on the bench was Murphy, SWP and Kranjcar. So I genuinely believe that we had our strongest possible set of players at the match.

Play Nico instead of Zamora. I did not mentioned Krancjar as a ball chaser, but as a creative player in the final third. Bobby just heads a ball whenever it comes his way or just keep hold of it. However, these are moments during the game. Do we count how many times we loose possession because he cannot dribble a player or pass properly? I like Bobby, but for twenty to thirty minutes only and depending on the result at the time. You needs players that can unlock a defence and in my opinion, Nico can do that.

unless Harry changes the negative approach he has for away games, can honestly see us get spanked
