I thought we played quite well overall but we do give up a lot of good chances. It is easy to see why we have shipped the most goals in the Premier League.'Only a Ranger!' cried Gandalf. 'My dear Frodo, that is just what the Rangers are: the last remnant in the South of the great people, the Men of West London.' - Lord of the Rings, Book II, Chapter I - Many Meetings.

I know QPR played well and created chances but dropping the points in that way is a huge kick in the teeth and is likely to have a bad impact on the next game. It's like the Wigan draw 2 seasons ago. And has similar ways in how the goal was conceded then i.e. Mackie on as sub failed to hold on to the ball and they broke to equalise via a late free kick. This time Hoilett on as a sub has the ball and a chance to score pass the ball or waste time in the corner , but screws it up.
QPR then went to Everton and gave up.

Austin had a few chances. Vargas coulda got one, ball was coming into him but Bobby got in the way..should have left it. Hoilett had one as well."When you went to the corner and saw our fans celebrating the way they were you just wanted to be part of it" - Shaun Derry after we beat the scum 1-0

We needed to get more points over the Christmas period and I fear we look like relegation candidates now, but a couple of wins between Burnley, Stoke, Sunderland and Hull could change that.
Swansea normally show us up anyway and Green could've had a red & a 3 match ban so it could be worse I guess.

Hull, Leicester and Burnley will have got more points than they expected.
