  • Eddie Howe... Get him here ASAP please Tony and the Board....

I know it won't happen as no doubt Harry will be here until at least the end of the season but I really feel that young Eddie would do a great job here and in terms of size and ambition there's not that much of a gap between us and The Cherries even though some on here think that we are on a par with Barca or Real Madrid....

Yesterday's sterile and lacklustre performance was as boring and uninspiring as it gets in my book and showed what a poor team we really are..... Dare say I'll get plenty of stick for this post but I doubt I'm alone in being sick to the back teeth of the tripe being served up by Harry and his collection of outdated fossils... Let's get some young and ambitious blood in and start enjoying some watchable football where chances are created rather than the current dross....

The kind of manager that should be leading us into a new stadium.

Start of a legacy. A young, hungry manager that wants to win. Not an old multi millionaire dinosaur with nothing more to do in the game except pick up his gargantuan pay packet every week. 1 cup in 20 odd years in management says it all.

    Yep I've gone off him.

Not convinced nose dived under pressure at Burnley abclub of similar size and expectation as us

Some people just find their fit and a way from their comfort zone do not function

So what was average age of our starting lineup yesterday? Bearing in mind we all love Zamora and Dunne so believe their ages should be discounted.

I have thought that west but I don't buy it.

You've either got it or you haven't. We do not know what was happening at Burnley behind the scenes so unfair to judge him.

Refreshing manager in my book. An honest man. Not an excuse maker.

One thing I would say is I love Howe, his teams play with a great energy and I love his work ethic they done a feature on him on telly other week and he's the first in and last out every day, something tells me this isn't how Harry works

I think most young managers have a wobble at some stage in their early careers, so the mediocre stint at Burnley wouldn't concern me so much. Whether it's Eddie Howe or another younger manager, I really do agree that's the way to go. Football has changed a lot in the last decade or so, we need to be moving with the times and I really don't think Harry has it in him anymore!

I think the biggest problem with Harry is his lack of intelligence. What I mean is there are a lot of managers who are old school like him and who've been around for years but they seem to be able to adapt and roll with the times and changes with technologies and advancements within the game as in sports science etc
but Harry doesn't come across like this, he seems to be too set in his ways and even that is translated where we play away it's like we haven't even studied the opposition and we don't know how they like to play or setup and subsequently don't know how to set ourselves up so just do the same thing week in week out, play safe and have 10 behind the ball and hope for a lucky break, and this I feel is even evident in his transfer dealings where he seems to stick to what he knows rather than have any kind of scouting set up and player profile.

Compare this to the BBC report someone posted on here a while back about Leicester and Nigel Pearson, and how stringently exam every single player, including the ones they want to sign, was a really good watch if anyone can remember it and dig it out

I like what I hear when he speaks as comes across knowledge and honest and certainly decent person how he carries himself.

Your right Jimmy he dont tend to give excuses but is that because hes at a club with low expectations which he has always surpassed so there are no questions asked. Would be interesting to get a Burnley fans view on him.

I would not be against him if he was poached just not convinced he would be as successful as some anticipate, he ticks the young box that some crave but then so did Mutch and Fer when many demanded younger signings and question remain with them

No thanks. Let's get estabished as a premier league club before we make any more changes... Eddie Howe is not the one... We are achieving our expectations at the moment so no reason for change

Have to agree with this, as a prime example being Big Sam at the Hamsters who has fundamentally changed his training methods and style of play to adapt to modern day requirements.

Don't think Harry is capable of this, which I am not sure is down to intelligence, more down to stubbornness.

All fair comments on here but as stated, HR has gone about it the long way round but he has achieved all his goals too date, he is also building a young squad. McCarthy, Yun, Caulker, Isla, Mutch, Fer, Phillips, Austin, Robertson and Sandro are all 25 and under, he take a lot of getting use to but HR is doing alright.
                            Kept the faith!

We're 15th, we do need a change at some point but now is not the time. Let's stay up first.
