Is it just my imagination or was he a lot better for Blackburn than he has ever been for us? I thought we'd landed quite a good player but he really hasn't delivered what I was expecting.

One good thing he did was to lay on the cross that led to Bobby scoring the winner at Wembley,but I'll never forget perhaps the longest ever WATRB thread surrounding his impending transfer from Blackburn to us.The on/off saga when he played us off by threatening to sign for a Russian team unless the terms were right,and giving the impression he thought he was too good for us.Videos of his days at Blackburn were all very impressive but in my opinion he has failed to reach the level of his earlier promise.

This. And the cross should have been hoofed into the stand by the Derby fella who instead teed it up for Bob....... Fella's a winger who can't beat his man or put over a cross. Can't think he will ever deliver the goods.

Austin?...... Ok he never played at the top level before he joined us but he was banging goals in everywhere he went. They could of easily of dried up in typical Rangers fashion the moment he signed for us. Think we've had a few great players at this club since the early 90s but IMHO I dont think anyone has been as good as Austin and Im not just talking about ability... He's young, got a great atitude, already got a high sell on value (IMO), likely to play for England, comes across as a genuine good lad whos playing because of his love for football and not for money... The list could keep on going, just need more players like him

Been saying the same thing for months - he's got no end product and fails to deliver time and time again. Gets in good positions and either gives the ball away or gets tackled as he's tried to take On another player rather than play a simple ball to one of our players.
Shouldn't be anywhere near our first team and I prsy he's sold In January. Awful player.
