Fer gave the ball away for the second and couldn't be arsed to run back even though he just came on. Two individual errors cost us, Harry can't be held responsible for that.

    Big win over Palace please!

We're paying this cnt 2m a year and he is only doing half a job. I would be embarrassed to come out and answer questions on why you can't set a side up away from home and how you team is on a record breaking run of away defeats (inc Burton ffs).

Harry's tactics seem to be 'you're not good enough, try and keep the score down'. Nine defeats and using the same tactics is mind boggling. One lesson learnt from yesterday is Hoilett and Traore need moving on
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
Into the arms I love the most

You can't just turn your form on like a tap, too many expecting us to go and get something at Burnley etc when weve lost everygame on the road.

Spot on burns. The excuse so far has been were playing teams above us away well Burnley on that logic is a team we should beat. I await some numpty offering excuse they finished above us last season and they have kept stable squad if they turn us over

I think his substitutions have been pretty spot on and yesterday was a good example.....

Fer for Henry - like for like but Fer offers more attacking threat.... good sub.

Zamora - having 3 strikers on the pitch.... good sub

Hoilett - Traore was having a poor game and not doing anything. Hoilett 'should have' been whipping balls in the box.... at the time a good sub.

the problem is why do we always wait till were behind and need a goal before we show any urgency?? Why dont we try and come out fighting and go on the attack from the off??..... lets be honest what have we got to lose, 9 out of 9 now!!
              SIR LESLIE FERDINAND!!

Two years now, Redknapp has been here. I would have thought that the likes of Hoilett, Traore, Phillips, Krancjar, Henry and Barton have had long enough to form at least some sort of understanding beteween themselves on a football pitch.

Our general form is pretty bad in truth and although we won our last three home games, that was more down to grit and determination in my opinion, because we were mainly outplayed in each one.

Once again we set about a match with a negative approach. Once we had gone 2-0 down, even little old QPR were causing untold problems against a dreadful Arsenal team, creating plenty of opportunities, albeit Hoilett wasting most of them.

Personally, I have no problem at all with a 3-5-2 formation, but if you cannot string a few passes together or keep posession for more than a few seconds, it quickly reverts to 5-3-2. And when it does, you may as well not have the front two, because they are never going to be involved when the three in midfield give the ball away almost first time, every time, as they did yesterday. That formation, played with the right players we have available, performing as they are capable of, would have easily been a match for that Arsenal team and capable of winning the game. Sadly, if you attempt to put square pegs into round holes, you shouldn't really be surprised if you have a bit of trouble with it.

Still never mind. At least Harry is consistent.

The tactics were a bit odd tbh, i expected a defensive approach but after the giroud send off we showed how #### our players really were, I always had some hope that Hoilett would once relive his Blackburn days but as of yesterday I'm convinced he is ####ing awful. We were unable to score a goal from open play against an average defence, however you have to look to the bright side if you look at our away games after Swansea at home there are a significant amount of points up for grabs.

i'm talking about the season as a whole , a lot of players have seen better days . ferdinand, hill, barton, dunne, zamora. all have put in the odd great performance but shouldn't be used for 90 mins , you could add kranjcar to that list as well. as for 'the tactic was working well ' they were camped in our half and it was a matter of time, bad finishing, and luck that we were not 3 nil down in the first half

You have said over the course of the season, we have used 5 old players... That's pretty impressive to be honest. Also, Zamora brings something that only Carroll can do just as well in football so there is validity to his play. Dunne has been consistently one of the best defenders in the league and hill has barely played. Barton is club captain so there's his reasoning as well.

This thread and every thread exactly the same as this after every away game should have 'harry out' incorporated into the title so we all know where we stand.
Bet you any money we wont get one of these threads after another home win tomorrow night, oh and if anyone whos been going will tell you the home wins and even the losses have been some brilliant exciting football all season as well.

But surely you can't be happy with the complete and utter dross we serve up away game after away game. Absolutely no ambition to win a game and this comes directly from the manager.

I don't want him out at the moment as would be counter-productive but has to be his last season with us whatever happens.

Probably because the negative tactics and general performance levels are exactly the same as every away game.

Would be nice for us to go out positively, win the game and not have to have this discussion again.

We can all live in hope, I suppose.

Even if not winning the game, possibly looking like we have a chance of doing so after the whistle blows would be a start.
