  • could defoe really be comming

several socia media leads are convinced hes comming if he does then we should be well and trully saved,if he comes he will get twelve goals before then end of the season,so instead of relying on just one striker we will be fireing on all cylinders

then we win the fa cup

Watched some of his highlights while he was playing over there, he still has that sharpness and that yard of pace to be a decent enough striker in the prem imo

He has played 19 games in a 34 match season but has managed 11 goals and 2 assists in that time in a very average side. He did go on a long dry spell from the end of July (When our interest started) until the end of the season so clearly there is some skew in this. If he was interested in playing he probably could have gotten more.

Whats amazing, when he played, his team lost every match where he wasn't involved in a goal. when he was, they won 6 and drew 4, staying unbeaten.
With him in the team, the record was (W6 D6 L7 G26 C32) without him it was (W5 D2 L8 G18 C22), do what you want with that info

Only matches worth mentioning are Galaxy, Seattle and DC United and he scored against seattle and dc in their wins against them. Didn't score against galaxy. Speaking of which, we should try Keane more than Defoe, much better player and injury record than defoe

This. Bradley Wright-Philips was top scorer in the MLS last season - 29 goals in 32 games. When the shitter of the WP brothers can bone the league, it is a pretty sad indictment of how bad it is. Defoe will be a decent addition, but don't expect goalscoring heroics.
