We have to rotate and give ourselves the best chance against Palace. They're our relegation rivals and gaining 3 points whilst at the same time denying them any points is the best strategy given our current circumstances.

They are also playing against other football players who are being paid similar amounts or more. Their pay won't help them rest up quicker. No one is suggesting that they can't play on both games but will they be at their best possible condition after playing at Arsenal only two days earlier? If they're not at their 100% against Palace than we're shooting ourselves in the foot imo.

Agree with Yousef - rest Fer, Dunne and Zamora. Would also rest Vargas. Play Ferdinand, Kranjcar and Phillips - Hoilett as wingers in a 4 - 5 - 1 formation.

I've seen a couple of articles with provisional squads shown which exclude both Chilians....perhaps resting Vargas and is Isla still in Chile for birth of his child?

Not sure if he's back in London.

I read somewhere that he is back in training.
