  • Harry talking about Squad Rotation for the 2 Xmas Games.

    Hows it gonna work then?
Save Austin for Palace game or just give him 1st half?
Will Harry go stronger for Palace Game?

Sorry but Arsenal is the only game I think we can afford to do half hearted. Palace is a huge game & we need to get a home win against Palace much greater them an attempted hard away win at Arsenal
    Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
    And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Palace is a much much bigger game for us, I'd rather us win 1-0 v Palace and lose 3-0 at the Gooners. Only because we will never catch Arsenal but could extend the lead over one of our closest rivals for survival against Palace
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Do you think he will rest some key players, or just give them first half?

Professional footballers on salaries over £30k p/w they can play both Arsenal & Palace otherwise work in an office or building site.

All well and good resting players, but anyone who thinks we'll definitely get 3 pts v Palace could be coming down to earth with a very big bump.
I really don't like the idea of putting all our eggs in one basket, or more importantly giving Arsenal or anyone else an easier ride

And they can win both, the top clubs have brought the best out of them, bar united, including liverpool.

                  Agreed Dave.

All for a bit of rotation as long as it doesn't involve teams like Arsenal running rings around us.

Would much prefer to win both.

Palace play Southampton before they meet us,so they have some chanches to get points on that game. Interesting to see how Warnock rotate his team, because they surely think they can get 4-6 points from these two games, but i say 0

We should not play a weakened side against arsenal. I would only rest 3 players for specific reasons: Zamora and Dunne due to their age and Fer as he has 4 bookings, a fifth against arsenal means a ban against Palace.

Agree with Dunne and Fer but think Bobby has to play against Arsenal as he won't give them an easy ride and they don't like playing against a big striker that is a pain in the arris.

Also, they won't have their first choice defence so Chambers or Debuchy can be targeted at centre halves. Mertesacker looked decidedly ropey against Liverpool too, so might as well give it a go, nothing to lose really.

Sit back like other away games and it will be yet another massacre.
