Im hoping we have already done all our business in the background and have tied up our deals and all are in place and available to play by 10 Jan

Not really interested in mass ins and outs at Loftus Road on the last day of the window don't mind the odd unexpected transfer that presents itself but I want bulk of business done in the first 10days if not earlier

I think HR will have his business already done, hence the trip last week, I like the way Swansea and Southampton have got bits done already and no one had a sniff.

If it was a deal until the end of the season it would be great, but we will be looking at a 2.5yr deal and he will be injured most of it.

I agree with Wests. Get it all finalised during the first few days, then they can be used. Not a fan of leaving it until the last couple of days. Not only does it waste a month, but generally means that either we didn't get our first choices or got royally stitched up due to desperation.

Be nice to get it right this January, particularly as the league table is beginning to look a little less embarrassing.

We really need a winger! Hoilett loves to run into fullbacks and the odd time he beats his man its a low cross to nowhere. Phillips is a championship player. SWP is just riding out his contract. 60k to play football mon-fri and travel the UK every fortnight! Its a farce! I hope we sign an attacking mid and probably a versatile defender.

Defoe would be a top signing. I know hes 32 but that boy will score goals and has kept himself in top condition.

Add someone like Townsend or lennon as well and maybe a CDM and reckon that will be enough to scrape through to the summer where we wont need to sign loads of players but 3 or 4 big signings in key positions will be a must.
