Kevin, that is an absolutely shocking post, despite him being an ex Ranger he is also a family man.

Best wishes to him and his family for a speedy recovery

Whilst I don't condone Kevin's I'll chosen words, this did happen to a very close friend of mine a few years back.He parked his car early one morning near Basingstoke, neatly laid his watch, wallet and mobile phone on the front passenger seat and stepped out into the path of a oncoming lorry. I had been playing golf with him the day before with no hint of what was to happen. The police in Clarke's case are pursuing several lines of enquiry, and I pray that this was just a tragic accident and that he makes a full recovery.God bless him and his family.

Met Clarke a few times and always came across as a good decent person. Good luck Fella !

I agree with this. Clarke has struggled with his demons for a long time. At least it looks like he will pull through which is great news.

alcoholism is a secret killer, I didn't realise he is only 35, when you look at Dunne and Hill you realise he should still have been playing at a good level, even Shittu is still playing, hope he recovers soon.

Hope he pulls through. Turns out I went to his last game which was for Northampton in their play off final. Was given some tickets through work. Played in some big games for us.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

GJB, I do agree but Kevin should have perhaps chosen different words. CC has had problems and hopefully this is a tragic accident and nothing more sinister than that

Yep, a good partnership, he could have been a top CB, had all the tools.
