Basically if he's a free agent, this story is nonsense.

I'm sure I read that he's in a legal battle with Moscow and can't sign for a club until it's resolved as they're not releasing him.
great .... lets hope he's a bit better and fitter than the last one we got in from Russia

So, knowing that there is no prospect of him kicking a ball for us until January, you say get him in and pay his wages in say November, December or whatever for no return?

Well we had a full 25 man squad which we couldn't change until now. Faurlin is injured and he took up a space if im not mistaken, which meant that had we signed Lass, we would have been paying him god knows how much to train with us... not the greatest bit of business if that had been the case. As it stands and with the likelyhood of this deal being rather high with the history Redknapp and Diarra have, I'm sure this will be an excellent coup for us.

Well, we couldn't sign him when we apparently tried to before, and Lokomotiv Moscow apparently refused to release his registration when Celtic tried to sign him earlier this year. There definitely seems to be something fishy going on there so I'm a bit suspicious about this one.

Another Samba-esque deal in place perhaps for him?

I believe in January the deal stalled because of wages? But with no real transfer kitty apparently and Diarra not getting a deal elsewhere as I believe his wages demands are high I could see this being done.

I had a look at wiki and the only thing I would say is the bloke hasn't played many matches considering the length of his career. I know hes a good palyer but is he injury prone?

Just Read somewhere he has been training with West Ham, if true, it looks like we might not have to worry about him, he would have been a good signing in my books.

If we are playing 442 then this would be a pointless signing.

we already have 3 dms like barton, henry and sandro. dont need this guy taking upto 40 bigones each week.

what we need is a winger rightback and striker. hopfully if anton farks off then add a cb to that list.

Diarra, Sandro Henry would be the only DM at the club, everyone else is to attack minded, would be a. Great signing.
