surely he realises by now that football is a team game. i mean surely he also realises by now that the reason spurs dont have him in their side regularly is because he still doesnt know the word pass!? i really hope the penny is beginning to drop, we all love to see those mazy dribbles but if he goes past one player or 2 he should then be looking for the man in space, or if close to the goal then the shot also not, let me see if i can take on these other 2 defenders aswell.

Might be one of those occasions where a bit of booing and stick from his manager might make him take a look at himself, and ask himself a few questions.
I'm sure one or two of the players have had digs at him about it too.
Like Eboue at Arsenal, it might be a turning point for him... however ridiculous it was to boo him.
I bet Old 'Arry was nodding knowingly when he heard about it.
It's up to the lad himself how he reacts to it. So much talent it's scary, but he's in danger of chucking it away if he doesn't get his head down and learn from stuff like this.

It's a tough one isn't it?!!!!
He looked really down in the dumps in the interview with Pete and you worry that if he gets too much stick he might just put two fingers up and head back to Spuds.
On the other had a lot of the stick he is getting is justified, it's a team game and he needs to learn that.
I hope that the lad takes the critiscism on board and works hard to regain his place in the 1st team!

When someone has as much skill and talent at he clearly has, knowing when to pass the ball and when to take on the man/shoot is said to be the difference between a good player and a great player - As it stands, Adel is a good player - let's face it that's why Harry loaned him out - if he turns out to be a great player, will he be on our books, back at Spuds tearing up the prem or elsewhere in the top flight of a league where the fans appreciate the talent and the fact that sometimes you have to take the frustration that goes with the flair?#standuptocancer

I still see no need at all to boo a player for this. Our fans have really changed over the years and unfortunately...for the worse. We were never this critical of players in the past and It's becoming rather sad that we always seem to have to find a way of taking it out on certain players. The worst thing in this case is that we're booing a brilliant young player who is not ours, and never will be if we continue to treat him with disrespect. He clearly wants to do well and sometimes gets carried away with his ability.
Did we ever boo the likes of Wegerle, Bowles, Marsh etc., when they went on a mazey run and lost the ball or blasted wide instead of squaring it? No...we did not.
Did Manure fans boo Ronaldo for these reasons?
I'll bet the Cardiff fans don't berrate Ledley when he decides to try and take the team on.
We really need to take a look at ourselves and ask what we think we've become?
So high and mighty these days that we expect perfection?
It's a joke and I'm glad we weren't on tv for this one as it was far more embarrasing last season when we did this to Mahon.Your mum would love me...

Just wondering where Adel goes from here... hopefully it might be a "Penny Drops" moment for him.
Or he might just sulk and get all defiant about it.
For the sake of his own career, and QPR this season, I hope it's the first option.

Our fans are becomming more and more nasty towards the team and it will only do damage to out performances as this is one of the most negative things the crowd can do.Your mum would love me...

This subject of "booing" a luxury player is not new and the mention of Roy Wegerle reminded of a game at Loftus Road around 20 years ago which I think was a replay in a cup competition against Blackpool.... We were a quite good first division (Premier) side at the time....
Wegerle "showboated" during the match and was booed fearfully by the fans when another chance went begging rather than pass the ball to a player in a better posistion as we drew 0 - 0 that night, if memory serves right we had to replay again and won quite convincingly....
Wouldn't surprise me though. We've always been a funny old bunch, and probably not as unique in doing stuff like that as we think.
But yes... it's still wrong, wrong, wrong.

What is Taarabt going to do by heading back to Spurs? There's no reserve team there any more and he's no chance of making the bench.
Ronaldo was given HUGE stick by the Man Utd fans, inc booing in his first TWO years. Let's not be selective with memory here. Ditto Wegerle who copped a great deal of flack from the crowd, particularly around the start of the 90/91 season and this after he made a great start.
Great players take no notice and it's water off a ducks back. He must learn from this.

The game has changed - in the seventies we allowed fancy dans to float around and be selfish but Man Utd in particular have raised the bar and shown with how they have transformed players - even with Ronaldo, the most skilful player in the world, the manager said "skill is not enough, you have to play for the team". I'm not for a minute defending the booing but skill should have an end product, otherwise its just self-indulgence. Maybe if we were top of the league and winning every game comfortably it might have been fair enough but he must realise Loftus Rd is an edgy place and this was our first win of the season at home.

Not just the booing of Eboue, but I know Arsenal fans that want Wenger sacked. Actually SACKED.
Chelsea fans have booed Drogba for his antics. (fair play to them for that!)
We're not alone in having a few mental fans.
Doen't make it right, but......
