Austin is the working class hero, Joey the always-runs-hot spark plug, but for character and class on this team no one holds a candle to Clint. His selfless gesture v Derby at Wembley cemented that for me, and his play v West Brom after a long absence was incredibly solid.Comment

The way I saw that MYU is that the player was lying on the ball and Clint was kicking at the ball. If he got a piece of the player in the process, so be it. Very little chance of taking a red for that, IMHO. He has character and plays with passion - two ingredients that are really helpful in a relegation battle and that in all honesty we could use a lot more of.
