An striker is described as a out and out when upfront is basically the only position he plays...Thats his job, thats what he's known for, and thats where he peforms best, his main role is playing upfront and getting goals....
For example, jemaine defoe. Not played a winger, or cm, permanatly a out and out striker, plays up front or not atall.
It basically means he is a striker, as in how a striker used to be ie Les Ferdinand as in he got on with doing his job which is scoring goals without ****ing about doing stuff that he shouldn't be getting involved in! lol
As above Defoe is one of the best examples of this, greedy selfish go on his own type striker which is exactly how a good striker should be!
shania good to see you put some of your stuff up on here we need you to post more you always seem to be happy
hopefull we can get a result against newcastle and be known as one of the favourites
strikers sometimes are complimentary so they forage around up front doing loads of approach work
perhaps playing on the wing or creating opertunities for attacking midfield players
the out and out striker is someone who has to score goals i think in our history clive allen best describes the out and out striker
clive just loved scoring goals perhaps rowan vine is a good example of a striker who is very creative an yet not deadly
so rowan vine is a striker but not an out an out striker does that make any sense at all
of course there is another english name for vine buit i cant get it through the
filter
