  • How many more games before Redknapp gets the sack?

I wont be surprised to see him go after Burnley if QPR lose.

I don't think the Board will want him in charge during the transfer window if QPR are in the bottom 3.

    the next four fixtures are:
    Everton (15th)
    WBA (20th)
    Arsenal (26th)
    Palace (28th)

Some winnable but tough fixtures coming up and it is absolutely vital that QPR get some good results otherwise they will be adrift again and like 2013 will find it difficult to attract new signings, without offering ott wages (Samba) and or ridiculous 'get out clauses' (Remy).

I think he'll still be here until the end of the season, the time for him to go has passed now. We have improved as a team and the board will take that into account, hardly anyone expected a win last night.

I get your point, but I personally think he`ll be given the transfer window to try and get the players we need, ie. impact subs, we just don`t have the squad depth to make
changes that will change a game for us.
We are starting to look a decent side at home, but wish we`d try and win away too.
After all it wouldn`t be a transfer window without Harry and his Range Rover.

no, maybe not a win last night but they probably hoped for a bit more of an attacking game than they have witnessed in other away games this season.

Also, many fans will expect a win against Burnley.

With the looming FL FFP fine, QPR cannot afford to sit back and hope Redknapp turns it around.

We won last Saturday. If we win again this Saturday I think most of us would have been delighted with 6 from 9. It is frustrating that we seem to be way to cautious away from home but we are giving everyone a match at home and I think it could be counter-productive to change manager now.

That is the main reason why we are so disappointed. QPR have never tried to go out and win an away game this season.

As for lack of subs, perhaps a change of tactics to utilise the pace of Hoilett and Phillips might just prove more effective than hoping that Fer, Krancjar and Barton can produce some goals and chances for the team.

Has any PL manager been sacked already this season?
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

If we can give anyone a game at home, it should mean we can give them a game away from home as well, It's just the way I see it.

You're right... I do expect us to beat Burnley at home and nothing else.

No Kirill, I think it's a record this year.

No Kirill. And MYU's correct. If we get to Monday without it happening, it will be the longest period that every manager has survived since the PL started.

                      exactly ccj.....very sensible post.
too many harry out threads when we lose. it'll all be hunky dory again when we win.....you see. There needs to be a bit of emotional grey somewhere.

                        100% agree.
But this season Phillips & Hoilett seem to be really struggling (I know a lot of people on here have said it for the whole time they`ve played for us), but I always liked them
especially Phillips. Maybe they just need a run of games? Maybe?
Just can`t get my head around the Jekyl & Hyde tactics, as MYU says if we can give teams a good game at home, then why not away?

Harry wont get sacked unless we go on a poor run - which basically means losing a couple at home on the bounce.

the away thing is an issue but i honestly believe its not to do with personnel - more so the lack of.

He bought and built a squad based on 352. which means no wingers. As many predicted the 352 got dropped early and window shut with us left woefully short in 3/4 areas. Firstly we have only 1 right back in the 25man squad. We only have 2 actual wingers (hoilett and phillips) both of whom are not getting any game time/simply aren't good enough. and we have 3 strikers instead of 4.

So what do we do ? drop the formation for a basic 442 - which I agree has given us a chance of survival at home. But thats generally down to the pressure we put teams under on our small pitch and other teams reluctance to have a proper go at us like they would at home. We will struggle all day and night away with the current system and personnel. Playing Fer and Niko in wide areas is beyond stupid as they aren't going to get to the byline to get crosses in and the chance of an overlap from Ned is laughable.

You'd think the answer is play hoilett and phillips and whilst i think we could give phillips more time to settle as he showed last season before getting injured he can get past his man and deliver a good ball in we opt for the ever predictable Hoilett. This guy is on par with SWP. Bar one decent moment he's been awful for us and we really should try and cash in on him.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                          Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

We won't get much joy out off the next 2 away games, so if we don't improve in January then he should make way for someone else
