  • The key to Premier League survival? Get rid of the s****, says Harry

Five points split nine clubs going into Tuesday’s games as QPR boss warns problem players will kill any chances of avoiding the drop

What is critical, Redknapp stressed, is to eliminate problem personalities – or what he calls the “s----” – from the dressing room. “It’s not just the 11 who play,” Redknapp said.

“If you have half a dozen s---- around you’ve no chance. You can’t win. They’ll contaminate the rest of them and bring the whole club down. They’ll be negative everywhere, getting in to good lads and bringing them down to their level.

The attitude of the group about you is the most important thing. If you walk in and see one or two s---- then your mind is on them. You’re watching them, watching who they talk to and what they are doing. They suck as much energy out of you as anything.”

"I'm more confident of staying up this time. I'm lucky that I have a good group of lads. When you have a good group of lads it's the easiest job in the world. It was hard and difficult when I took over. But this is a new lot of lads and they are good lads.

Niko Kranjcar hasn't been in the side, but he's trained like a demon, working hard, practising, wanting to get back in the team. He got his chance on Saturday, did well and that's all you are asking for. You don't want people sat there with a face like thunder with a needle in the bum and couldn't give a s**t.

Even someone like Rio (Ferdinand) who didn't play on Saturday, his attitude around the place was fantastic. Rio was stood alongside me in the dugout and he was shouting and as involved as I was. He wants us to win. That's what makes a football team. It's not just the 11 who play, it's the football club. The likes of Clint Hill saying, 'I'll be ready gaffer if you need me'. That's what you want."

HARRY REDKNAPP reckons QPR have a great chance of staying in the Premier League as there are no 's***s' in his team.

Is it that time of the month again, staff/players giving
interviews spiritually sired by Captain Obvious?
            Less platitudes, more points please.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

It really does make you wonder what a so called good footballer can get away with in their minds , could they really risk safety for somebody that has no respect for them or their club

Dont read too much into it Kevin. Its from the usual written press interviews following the weekly press conference, which always come out Monday or Tuesday. Also the question isn't usually quoted, just the response.
