Don't seem like a man wanting to leave this club, maybe he thinks it's too early?

Got to be honest I'll be a bit shocked if true. Thought he seemed very happy here and doesnt his family know HR or the club well and all get on very well?.... Although like MYU says maybe just a bit early to sign anything especially if he wants to be playing Premiership football next season. If thats the case probably shows he's not the type of player to be chasing pay cheques (I'd imagine we offered him quite a bit if true) and just wants to play at the highest level....

It could be in Scotland if it's somewhere?

He loves us too much, he just bought a house, his family are mates with harry, he wears qpr pjs to bed every night.

listen to ya farking selves. pathetic !

no half decent player will stay with us if we go down.

forget signing isla and vargas and say good bye to fer, mutch, barton, caulker and austin if we go down.

who in there right mind would sign a contract with us while we are bottom of the league for fark sake.

What is there to be surprised/shocked about? The man clearly got half a brain at least, unlike many footballers. It is not about loyalty, it is about common sense. You don't commit yourself long-term to a badly managed employer, no matter how much you may like them.
Banning people is no longer my hobby,
but take a look at my photo blog:

How and why did I start supporting QPR in Estonia:

reading way too much into it - even if he has turned down an extension it doesn't mean he wants to leave.

We may have offered him an extension on the same wages, and he wants to negotiate a payrise (which he would be more than entitled to given his season so far).
You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

He want more money (understandable) and the guarantee he's playing in the Premier League next season (understandable)
I should probably write something insightful here

It's not a great story to come out just before an important game. There will be added pressure on him today if it's true, I am hoping it's just paper talk

Get shot in January while his profile is high , or get shafted in July ?
Let the club do what they think is best

I think it's bad news if I'm honest.

Not often I say this but you're bang on there Hitman!

Doesn't matter how much Charlie loves QPR, he'll be playing Premiership football next season whether we are or not. He'd be mental to sign a new contract whilst we're at the bottom of the table!

One thing I can't stand about us is fact that all our business seems to be done in public.... who we want to buy, who earns what, who's sulking etc etc- it's like club are obsessed with column inches.
I do appreciate that lots of stuff can be leaked by agents, players or agitators but I do think we could be far more commercially sensitive about our business and keep things in house. I'd also have every employee bound by a very tight restriction on talking publicly about commercial/financial matters and wipe the floor with any of them that flouted it. If we operated like that we could easily and credibly dismiss the inevitable guff that would still appeared in print as completely made up or speculative.
