Rio has a really good range of passing, and very composed on the ball especially for a CB. Barton will do all the running while Rio protects the back four.

I get what you mean but only way for me rio gets into our team is if all other centrebacks are injured or we opt for a 3-5-2 formation

If you think about it sort of is a 3 back formation. The fullbacks can push with a bit more freedom, onouha and caulker have enough pace to handle through balls and balls over the top. Rio will just sweep up the middle. You got to take risks. We need to keep the ball and with Zamora we just seem to knock it up to him. That tactic wont work forever.

Not a bad line up there Taarabt, remember Harry saying earlier this season that he thinks Rio can play a CDM position.

Charlie can't play the one up front role...so if you pick this team you need BZ instead of Chaz.

Agree with all of that, bobby and charlie seem to work great together and no point disrupting that at the moment

I like fer, I think he offers amazing ability. If he could translate his ability so he performs it for the whole 90 mins he would be some player. Often goes missing but boy he has some ability.

Yes dunne has played out of his skin... But for me rio has been way too heavily criticised.. He is still only a handful of games into a new team. He was no way as bad as everyone made him out to be. What a perfect game for him to come back into. Leceister at home and they are struggling for goals to. Rio is a great player and I think he deserves another chance now that we have found a settled formation.

What do you class as amazing ability? Being honest - I dont see what he offers us that others in the squad could easily do. He has the odd nice turn or flick on the ball. Apart from that he is a crossbar challenge expert. His best position is behind the striker which I dont think he will be playing for us unless Bobby gets injured.

If Fer offers amazing ability I haven't seen it. And I've seen every game this season bar Burton Albion...... Anton in midfield???

He has the ability to beat a man with skill. He is both footed, well balanced. Strong? By saying amazing ability I don't mean he has reached his potential, I'm just saying that there is a good player in there somewhere... I completely agree that he hasn't really turned up away from home yet but I do think his performances at home have been better... Sandro the big player for us in the middle. Him and barton will prove to be a great partnership in time.

I'm also looking forward to Rio being back as well
