I know Spurs and Liverpool play today, and i hope they both win, along with the Saints on monday, but there are only 6pts between us and them.(Spurs/Liverpool)
Home games are vital, but equally vital, is imo that we get Bobby, Charlie, and Eduardo on the pitch too...That gives us our most potent threat

But how is this translating into points?

      Newcastle (A) - L 0-1
      Man City (H) - D 2-2
      Chelsea (A) - L 1-2
      Villa (H) - W 2-0
      Liverpool (H) - L 2-3

Points: 4 (5 matches) - 1.33 pts per match at home, 0 pts per match away.
      Estimated end of season points total: 25 (8 + 17 + 0)

I'll try to remember to update this thread after each match.
Certainly looking better after the Leicester win, which was massive - but still a way to go. Need to get some points away from LR now.

      Leicester (H) - W 3-2
      Newcastle (A) - L 0-1
      Man City (H) - D 2-2
      Chelsea (A) - L 1-2
      Villa (H) - W 2-0
      Liverpool (H) - L 2-3

Points: 7 (6 matches) - 1.75 pts per match at home, 0 pts per match away.
Estimated end of season points total if we continue our "mini revival" form: 32 (11 + 21 + 0)

I think that performance at West Ham will be a blessing in disguise. Can imagine Harry and some of the senior players having a right go after that inept display. Been unrecognisable since, some great performances, but more importantly, some desire and effort
I must away now, I can no longer tarry

I did this thing before Dave, I always end up with QPR in first place and Chelsea getting relegated, I think it's a load of pony!

It's finally starting to look like a revival in points as well as form. 10 pts from 8 matches is pretty good, although 5 matches were at home. Get a result at the toffees and it will be even better!

                          Burnley (H) - W 2-0
                          Swansea (A) - L 2-0
                          Leicester (H) - W 3-2
                          Newcastle (A) - L 0-1
                          Man City (H) - D 2-2
                          Chelsea (A) - L 1-2
                          Villa (H) - W 2-0
                          Liverpool (H) - L 2-3

Points: 10 (8 matches) - 2 pts per match at home, 0 pts per match away.
Estimated end of season points total if we continue our "mini revival" form: 36 (14 + 22 + 0)

One of these days we will see out an away match for a result, I just don't think it will be at Goodison, we had better keep winning home matches if our away form remains wretched!

a bit worrying that Burney and CP are no walkovers at all. To me, it seems like Hull is the weaker side ATM. Regarding Burnley, I hope Ings will be bought by another Club in January.

But If we take a point or three tomorrow we have no Direct reason to feel inferior,IMO.

It has now been 12 matches (about a third of a season) since we "started playing better" and we aren't exactly setting any records. Er, not good ones anyway. Also, the second half looks a lot tougher than the first (to me anyway).

                                Palace (H) - D 0-0
                                Arsenal (A) - L 2-1

                                Swansea (A) - L 2-0
                                Leicester (H) - W 3-2
                                Newcastle (A) - L 0-1

                                Liverpool (H) - L 2-3
