  • School end deal

Looks decent tbf. I think a score for you and each friend you bring is very reasonable but I have never sat in this area.

I have heard that away fans pour/spit on home fans below.

Does this happen often and is it a decent view?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Never ever sat that end and never would. Would just be wrong to me, would rather pay the extra couple of quid and sit in a rangers section.

I do feel the same Kev but bringing plenty with me so it would be more than a few quid and more beer money.

Fair enough if thats the case mate ,but i still reckon it would feel too strange watching us kick that way, and i always like to be right up the loft end for the second half onslaught.

I've sat there before WeAre. It is a bit 'worms eye' view but ok if it saves you a few quid.

Sat behind the goal many times when tickets are short elsewhere, decent enough view although the seats are still tightly packed
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

We all had to spend a season up the school end in the late seventies / early eighties.

Might be imagining things, but seem to recall a game against Oldham, being 4-0 up and finishing 4-3.

That is absolutely right. What is more me and some mates went in the School end for that game and hung a QPR banner over the front so some of our other mates could see it from the Loft.
I have a feeling Simon Stainrod might have been playing for them that day but I might be wrong.

Not sure about Stainrod, but you could well be right.

Wasn't the loft closed though? I thought it was when they were revamping that end. Funny to think that we had the most modern ground in the country soon after.

I just googled it out of interest. That game was Feb 80 and he played for them in that season then signed for us the season after. So it could be true.

Brilliant view & is a home section what's the problem.
