With go all the way back to 1983 with our latest 'Throwback Thursday' video. Gary Micklewhite finishes off a stunning QPR move with a stunning strike against Middlesbrough during our 6-1 victory at Loftus Road.

I remember that game has if it was yesterday. Do you remember how many games we lost on that pitch. Not many i only remember the scum and luton. A fantastic goal tho. Did it get goal off the season

Still my favourite Rangers goal. Love the Roeder stepover and the Flanagan dummy. I was in the Ellerslie that day with my Dad. Clive Allen had a stinker but still ended up with a hat-trick, including an absolute pile driver from 30 yards I think?
Even better, we were on MOTD that night and I still have the VHS of it in the loft. Brilliant!
How much space did John Gregory have when he picked the ball up from Hucker though?! You wouldn't get that these days ;-)

Micklewhite was a very underrated player and quite possibly the best signing QPR have ever made from Man Utd
