I thought that he lost the ball, people groaned, then he gestured, then people booed at the gesturing, then after that people clapped every time he tried something.
He certainly should have passed, and to be honest he plays like that whatever the score, so I don't especially buy the 'we were 5-2 up' thing.
I think he will be an amazing player, he has sop much ability. HIs control is awesome, he has so much strength, he maybe needs a little more composure in front of goal and also needs a little more awareness of possible team-mates in better positions. But he is so exciting to watch. Probably an arm around him rather than booing, but as I said, I genuinely think the booing was in response to his gesturing (that doesn't excuse either).
I hope after a night's sleep he can calm down and realise that he does need to imprive that area of his game, but at the same time realise that the fans love how exciting he can be.
